Implemented Enable 100 posts per page view

Not too much to say about this. The max is currently 40 posts per page. I've read that admins can make 100 posts per page a possible choice. I'd probably use that if it were available.

Well, if it can be done, then I don't see why not(it's kinda a personal preference thing)So, if it can be enabled, sure whatever.

 

Eh... As long as it's optional, I'm fine, but I agree with Kubo... The computer would lag completely with such an amount to load, especially for people with dial-up. And yes, there are most likely people still with dial-up.

 

If it's possible then I don't see why we shouldn't have it, more options is always better. Though I don't really see the point personally, most of the threads around here don't even reach 100 posts. Still, if it's possible then please do make it an option.

 

But many reach more than 40, which is the current maximum. (Also, navigating threads with more than 100 posts tends to be a nightmare with 40 PPPV.)

 

Some people prefer to see as much of a thread as they can without clicking to see another page and waiting for that one to load.

The amount of time it could take to load a 100-post page might save time in the amount it takes to load a 11-post page nine times.

Either way, it's just a personal preference. If it isn't the default, I don't see why not.

Like Christhor said, most threads don't reach 100 posts, but that just means once the thread loads, we have the whole thing in front of us

As a general personal preference, it would indeed be acceptable - as with the aforementioned statements of threads never reaching 100 posts regardless, perhaps another post-per-page limit may be set, at the least to assist in the navigation of such larger threads as well.

 

Meh, don't see why not, people don't have to change it if they don't want to.

Changed it to have more options, including 100 posts per page (though that is the maximum).
