I know that quite a few people here like this anime, but has anyone read the manga? I've just started it and I'm up to the chapter "The Girl's Past". Opinions?
This anime is awesome and if you don't watch it in its entirety and like it I'm going to break into your house, kidnap you and ship you off to a secret lab where they do horrible things to you and you will one day meet Lucy face to face and be forced to pay for your crimes. ... What? You asked for an opinion... *shot* Just kidding, it's a great, emotionally tugging anime that gets pretty... 'interesting' near the end. Also gore and boobs. Manly anime is manly. Even if it's a shoujo anime in reality. Oh the manga. Better than the anime. By far.
It's been a while since I read it, there are some differences between the manga and the anime (which I adore) but it is still pretty awesome. It is one of my favourites :D
Only saw the anime, but I loved it. Gorey as hell and a surprisingly deep story that really tugs on the heart strings; perfect. Though I could do without the anime boobs. Other than that, a pretty damn epic anime.
Watched the first 8 minutes on youutube. Only comment is: Put soem God d@mn clothes on! I've also seen the abridged series where he censors that. Which is nice.
