A poem for my deceased baby sister.

    ~Harrowing Elegy~

    This is a harrowing Elegy,
    A requiem for the dead.
Oh If only, My sweet, I had died in your stead.
in your absence,Your long time away,
Mom and Dad have gone mad, And They grow worse by the day.
It seems like they can't take it...
Or rather, won't possibly make it,
Without your radiant smile to brighten their day,
Or your shining brown eyes, and the cute things you'd say.
Come back to us dear, we're broken without you!
We're falling apart, and we don't know what to do.
We're all alone, and we can't stand one another.
They ask God every day, how you could have such a brother.
Wandering aimlessly through life, with our suicidal intent,
we miss the precious, although small, time that we've spent.
we wait for the day when we'll stand at Heaven's door,
That fateful day, when we'll be seperated nevermore.
With tears in our eyes, We'll burst through arms wide,
reunited at last, just the four of us, together side by side.

Good length......good rhyming with a good meaning......don't usually like sad poems but I can see there is a reason for the mood of this one.....good poem and sorry to hear that man......

It starts good, but the last verses are all way too long for my like, but is good taking that apart, and is just my like.

    Great job.

I love this poem. It has such depth.

I like the length of the last verses better, actually XD
