This is interesting. I'm glad they're bringing the 3-faction thing into an MMO. I'm a little skeptical though. I mean this series has never had multiplayer before and is known for bugs. But still, I'm looking forward to it...as long as it doesn't have a subscription fee.
I'm thinking it's gonna turn out likethe Final Fantasy XIV MMO. All hype and everything, but when it comes out, complaints galore
Funny you should mention that, the main complain of XIV was the controls, and Skyrim had the same problem on PC
This doesn't surprise me really. There has been talk about an online Elder Scrolls since Oblivion came out. Looking at this picture, I'm assuming players will have access to the whole world map (Skyrim, Cyrodill, Morrowind, etc), which actually excites me. I don't know whether I'd actually play it or not though. We'll have to see. That was Square's fault for releasing an unfinished game, actually. Sure, Bethesda's games are buggy as hell, but at least they're never really lacking any big things(Excluding any kind of Expansion pack/DLC of course)
Now, If there is already a thread about this game in this section feel free to please merge this thread with that. But anyways I wanna talk how convinient this release date is for me; normally games I really look forward to end up releasing after the summer vecation as we know is annoying, generally september october time. But for once a game I am looking forward to is coming just before summer I mean some games do obviously release before summer but generally even if i look forward to them I end up beating them bit by bit just before summer hits and then i'm bored of it. anyways, who else will be getting this?
~Merged because of similar topic. I was excited for this as I have grown up on the series (been playing it since Morrowind) and I adore it, I especially want to see what the Marsh lands and the Desert will be like. Sadly, I am unhappy about the price as it involves subscription and I just can't afford that, I don't want to get sucked into a game that I will have to continually pay for for the rest of its life. Also, my sister and a few friends got onto the Beta for it and their final thoughts were that is was good, it was basically Skyrim but larger, however, it didn't feel worth the subscription price. It comes out in April so I will like to see how well it does at the initial release and hope that they drop the price... probably not but I can still hope.
