Ed, Edd, and Eddy to End this Weekend

This Friday, starting at 9:30 A.M, CN will start airing a 30 hour marathon of Ed, Edd, and Eddy. The marathon will end with the final Episode.

I really loved this show, it was my favorite one on the Channel(besides anything on Toonami). And I really don't want it to end, eh well, I'll just buy the season sets.

Wow some of you'se liked this show? I thought it was okay but a bit boring. -_-

 

aw man ed edd and eddy was cool i dont want it to end, oh well i guess its been going for a good 3 years right? its probbly the best time to end it.

 

I agree. Sorta stupid at some parts too.

 

I don't like it that much,but My brother is OBSESSED with Ed,Edd,n' Eddy.He freaked out when he found out about the final eppisode.

 

I thought I just saw a comercial saying there is going to be a new episode next week. Oh well I was watching it but I got bored. xD

 

I remember watching it as a kid...but I don't know anybody who got really into it, so...maybe it's for the best.

 

Let me see, it came out 1999, so it has had a good 8 years.
After this show leaves, the only good show on Cartoon Network (except some of the anime) would be The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

 

I hate The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy...ugh. >.>

Cartoon Network won't be itself without Ed, Edd, and Eddy...

 

The show is now ended and is now doomed to reruns and maybe a spot on the channel Boomerang.....

So Cartoon Network is practically dead!

 

IT IS NOT THE LAST EPISODE, there is a contract for one more season. Then they will end it. It is obvious though becuase of the special that is coming up and also Cartoon Network has made it clear there is a 6th season in the contract. Then they will end it. The season will have 13 episodes and 3 specials one of which is coming on May Day.

 

rtrace is right. It may be the last episode, but it's not the last episode ever. It's actually just the last episode of season five. Pretty misleading if you ask me.

 

So I was right.... it isnt the final one. Well then why are they making such a big fuss about it. I thought for a while it was the last one because they were making a big deal.

 

You need to look at it from a business point-of-view. They're using their network, which usually broadcasts many different cartoons, to broadcast one cartoon only for over a 30 hour period. Business-wise, that's a really ****ing stupid decision. Not everybody likes Ed, Edd, and Eddy, and even more people deplore watching re-runs. What will keep people motivated to keep watching that one cartoon, to keep the cash rolling in? Why not add in a "last episode ever" disclaimer? That's sure to attract watchers.
