It's like EA are just trying to make everyone hate them. Granted, I'm not a big fan of the Wii U just yet, but....seriously? No games for it? What's it like for them to have their heads all collectively up their own asses?

Actually, the fact that the Wii U and the Wii combined aren't selling as many as the 360 and PS3 alone by 30,000 isn't a good sign. Like I said before: Wii was made for casual gamers. They made a fortune at the beginning of the race and are quickly losing ground due to shortsightedness at their part. They really need to bring new blood in. Look how 360 and PS3 are doing with stuff like Valve and Ubisoft. (Note, I don't know when they entered the market, but I know Valve hit stride in PS2 era.) I haven't even thought of buying Skyward Sword seriously, nor any of the Mario games. I know they still have fans, but a lot of them are seeing the same thing I am: The games aren't made for serious gamers anymore. Skyward Sword seemed like a joke with the graphics and the fact that there seemed very little ways to die in it. But that's my opinion and I won't get into it because it's spam.

Maybe it's EA, but I think Nintendo is also driving away the powerhouses now, maybe it's just NOA, but sales are hurting for it and third party companies are smartening up to it. At the same time, it might be NOA also telling them to get lost. It's a sad thing alltogether.

I have come to really admire EA at times and really dislike there choices at others. For this one, I am kind of in the middle. I don't find EA to be the best of companies so I see no loss for it on the WiiU. But in a market where you release games to each platform, and where most people own a PS3 or 360, do you think they will go out of there way to buy a WiiU and that game, or just buy the game and stick with the console they already own. Not hard to figure out. It upsets me that they are doing this because of such little sales. Eventually the other consoles will be obsolete and most people in todays economy aren't going to go rush out and buy the next console right off the bat. I understand that companies like to do transitions in which they slowly convert from one generation to another, but WiiU kinda got stuck in that one being released a good year before everyone else.

Of course no one's surprised, but that doesn't make it not cowardly. No one is ever surprised that third-party developers are pulling support for the Wii U, because their execs are all chickensh#% whiners who can't invest in a console's future for fear of losing the delicious green lining their pockets.

I feel bad for wishing EA would tank, because I know how many people would be out of a job. But I really wish they would tank.

So basically sell more systems. I wonder what's going to happen when the One starts to have terrible sales. Anyway, I think Nintendo will get it's game together, but they really need to. I heard their E3 went pretty badly in the gaming side.

Saying "Look, it's like this" before reiterating what you've already said doesn't make it any less cowardly. I'm gonna laugh when they come running back farther down the line.

The Nintendo systems seem to result in fickle reactions from the third-party developers more and more as the generations continue, due to the extensive presence of Nintendo's first-party games, so they claim. From a few of the previous articles I had read, they seemed very ambivalent about continuing with the Wii U but I suppose this puts the situation to a temporary (and unfortunate) rest.

Oh EA, how I miss when you were not like this.

We don't know were Nintendo stands.. sure they seem coward, but then again they at least go out and told the world their policy, Nintendo isn't saying nothing maybe out of fear...

Maybe it is not only sells (as they are bound to improve when this current generation really ends) , but maybe Nintendo isn't supporting third parties as much as they should so they don't fell secure at investing in it (just see the vita, it doesn't sell as much, but the publishers have a good relationship with it).

I think they could start making only digital releases for WiiU if things are that bad.
