Re: E3 Expo 2011

I hope so! It was a real bummer when you claimed ther would be no Kingdom Hearts 3D_ Dream Drop Distance at this years E3 expo, but now you say that there's 50% chance that it will appear. I'm a bit anxius right now, although it doesn't bother me that much. Firstly because I don't hav a 3DS and I'm not going to buy it just for one ort two games, secondly as long as the game itself releases it's just fine. I'm probably gonna watch the cutscenes on the internet. Kingdom Hearts may be my favourite game, but I'm not gonna buy a 3DS for just one game. To be honest, i'm more interested in Kingdom Hearts 3 or a possible volume 2 for Birth By Sleep than I am for Dream Drop Distance.

I would love for Kingdom Hearts 3D to show up, though judging from the fact that Birth by Sleep (one of the most important games of the series) didn't make much of a big splash last E3 the most I would expect is just a trailer or a little snippet of footage in a "Games for 3DS" type trailer. I do hope though that if there is a trailer that it doesn't show too much of the story. Kingdom Hearts as a series has always had a vague, mysterious theme that keeps the players in suspense so I would like it if some of the main plots (such as why Sora and Riku are in their younger forms) are kept a secret until the release of the game.

I'm still keeping up a positive outlook when it comes to future KH games. I'm getting anxious too about getting new information regarding KH3D or any other surprise developments.

But, I think I can speak for everyone when I say FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CAN THEY PLEASE MAKE KINGDOM HEARTS 3 ALREADY?!

Honestly, I'm really hoping that Dream Drop Distance will be surprised-shown at E3 this year. I mean, I'd be pretty happy to see it.

But I suppose that even if it doesn't, all good things come with time.

Kingdom Hearts has never really been one of the 'major players' at gaming. A few trailers is the most there usually is. It just doesn't have as much popularity as other game series, even fellow Square ones.

I hope Dream Drop Distance does get at least a small amount of coverage. Or even this: Sony has recently announced they are rebooting several best selling PSP titles into HD PS3 titles. I pray Birth By Sleep will be remastered for the PS3. Maybe even with additional content. Of course, there is no confirmation of this. But I can hope. ​

Yeah, I hope so, but the E3 calendar hasn't updated to add a Kingdom Hearts Preview. FYI

I didn't seen anything tonight, the table was open to Ubisoft, Sony, and Microsoft. (New Assassin's Creed, Modern Warefare 3, Gears of War 3, Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3, Halo 4... etc, etc)

I see no reason for it to be there, it was announced last year as coming, the biggest thing would be a release date and they have bigger games to announce. Now if say, KH3 was in the works or had anything to show, that would be there...maybe (hard to tell considering the massive amount of new releases on tap).

Not to mention, everyone's focus is going to be on the Vita and Wii U right now.

There are a lot of games that were announced last year that were featured this year as players for release.

I believe tomorrow is the last day of E3, I'll keep looking on the interwebz as well.

well i think they will come up with a kh for the 3DS eventually but y call it "Dream Drop Distanse" what's the significanse in that name even!? Well what i've studied is that knwing Square Enix is that they wouldnt/couldn't make a whole new kh game like only 2 or 3 months after re:coded. It's phisically IMPOSSIBLE with the 3DS coming out so early unless they knw it was coming out like a whole lot sooner than everyone else. Even then they would of had to start working on it for years of planning and designing and recording. So if they end up doing something like that it would come out in like a year or so. Even then, rumor has it that kh 3 is coming out in 2012 so y make another one when they're trying to make kh 3?

Oh dear, this is a mess...

Hon, Dream Drop Distance has already been confirmed for the 3DS, now all we're waiting for is the release date. We highly doubt that Kingdom Hearts III will be coming out in 2012, even though it'll have been ten years of Kingdom Hearts.

Usually, the name of a KH title has significance to a main point of the story like with Days or Birth by Sleep.

A longshot, but here's my take on it.

Dream: They're in a dream-like state, in the trailer we can see Sora being asleep at least
Drop: Falling deeper and deeper into what I guess is their hearts/minds
Distance: It's a long way

I don't think KH is will be featured at all at E3

With today being the last day of the expo, I doubt we'll see anything. Imma start looking foward to Jump Festa then.

Don't forget that Nomura said they'll be using the 3DS more as 'falling into' the game, not the game coming out at you.

That's one thing I thought of

I think it was stated to mean "The distance you fall in your dreams" Which ties in a bit with KHI, since it was kind of significant by that time. Not so much with the new releases, though. Birth by Sleep being an exception.
