Well, I officially still don't know what the problem is. To this day, I am still not receiving e-mail notifications from KH-V, and I don't know what the problem is. I don't think it's a spam issue, because 1) there aren't any e-mails from KH-V in my Junk email folder, and 2), since KH-V didn't change their e-mail, it doesn't make sense. The only change that was made was moving from vBulletin to XenForo, which is when this issue for me started. Any ideas?
When I had messenger installed on my desktop, I had it set to pop up when I got an email. This would help when I got alerts while not on the site. When I first set it up the emails were in my Junk/Spam folder and I had to correct it, letting my inbox know that it's not spam. After that I had no problems. Have you looked under your preferences to see if alert by email has been checked?
Check this. If you're still having issues, please let me know and I'll send a test email to you. But if you have to, set a filter on your email account that says all emails from contact@kh-vids.net do not go to spam or junk.
Yeah, it's set correctly. I believe you already know this, Misty, but we changed ISPs (Fairpoint -> Charter) before the move to XenForo, and I was receiving e-mails perfectly fine on my new e-mail address. It was only after the move to XenForo that the issues started, which is what makes this really odd since KH-V's e-mail address did not change. Anyway, go ahead and send me a test e-mail. Just let me know when you send it via a personal conversation, a comment, MSN, or Skype. :) EDIT - 2:09 PM PST: Do you mean some spam or junk thing outside of my e-mail? I don't receive anything at all. There's nothing in my Junk email folder from KH-V.
I've sent you two emails, one through the Xenforo system and the other as a regular email. Let me know if you receive either.
There's usually some kind of option you can choose, it would say something like, "Allow messages from this contact." or something along those lines. Simply place KHV's email under this setting and if any emails are getting "sent away" for being "spam" or whatever, they should now be delivered to your inbox. Assuming that is the problem.
This is how to set up a filter if you're wanting to place all incoming messages in a single folder, don't know if that's what you meant earlier. This is how to add a contact to your "Safe Senders List" in Windows Live Mail. Hope this helps.
I just googled it man. I use MSN personally, so I had to look it up. Just let us know if it starts working, or if the problem remains.
I didn't get a notification for your reply just now. Try sending me a test PC.[DOUBLEPOST=1355374141][/DOUBLEPOST]Nope. Nothing. Misty, any ideas?
