I thought this was referring to the movie, I'm really disappointed.

I like the image, my issue is with the text, the font isn't very nice imo, i'm not sure which would look better but i'd experiment with them a bit and see nicer ones.

I'm not sure how blended in you wanted the text, but too me it's just a bit too much, make it stand out just a little bit more and I think it'd be really.

I have to agree with Vivi, I absolutely love your choice of colours and the image is lovely and the effects you've added to the piece are subtle but work well. I never know what text would fit my pieces so I normally go through a large selection and experiment to see which one works best. Since your piece is quite light and gentle I suggest a font that flows, so no blocky ones like Arial or Times New Roman. If you are completely stuck then this site is very useful for picking new fonts and they are easy to import into whatever program you are using (GIMP?)

Anyway, good work once again Andrew : D

Thank you for the kind words guys!

And I have actually seen that site before, and attempted to get a font from there for another piece, but I couldn't figure out how (I use Gimp, btw).

Then today, I saw a tutorial on how to get new brushes into your Gimp (which I've done, love it!) and so I figure you do the same thing with text, by dragging it to the Gimp folder and putting it under 'fonts'.

At least I hope it works that way... anyway, I'll check back in a few and see if it works. If so, I'll post this piece again with a different font!

Thank you again! <3333[DOUBLEPOST=1346005551][/DOUBLEPOST]Okay! Well here the new piece:

I definitely think this looks better, because as you guys said, it's not as blocky and more... natural. c:

Muuuch better, you totally fixed the issue completely, the lettering is lovely now, stands out in just the right way, and all the colours go beautifully now.

Yeah, I agree- you've done a lovely job there : D I may suggest moving it so it's not so right aligned, instead just randomise it a bit:

    Kind of
    like this
    if you get me

Alright, bad example xD but yeah, the font works well.
