Aren't dreams just the weirdest things? Like sometimes I feel like I just landed in my bed and I wake up. My mom said it was probably my spirit leaving my body and some people do that on purpose, you know like witchcraft and stuff. what do you think?

Idk about all the witchcraft stuff but... I have had many dreams, all of them normally pertaining to what i was doing. Like when i start playing a new MMORPG ill have a dream about it. Or if i hang out with the girl i really like ill have a dream about her. I think its really your brain telling you what you want. Thats why people normally have nightmares after Scary movies. Its their brain concentrating on scary thoughts. Also whenever you watch a comedy it may be the same there. The Human Brain really is such a huge wonder that we really can't explore all its depths.

No, no, no, no, wrong. What that is, is the after effect of a dream that you usually can't remember, and your brain makes your body jerk in response to what was in the dream. I remember a fragment of one of those - I was walking down a sidewalk and tripped just as I woke up, so my brain started to make my body react to the trip - arms outstretched, eyes clench, etc. It stopped as soon as I woke up, making me jerk. No mystical magical explanations there. And yes, that explanation was magical. Think about this - anything unexplainable, by definition, is magic. Therefore, all religious thoughts about God and his "works" are magic thoughts. So... according to you in a different post, isn't Christianity guilty of magic? And therefore evil?

That's the same thing with me.......except it's mostly anime.....anyway I think dreams are just away to escape from reality when your sleeping or when your awake (day dreaming)....only you know what's going on in your dream (unless you tell someone)

That was just an example, a secondary point, not important. What I was trying to say, was that, I have had that happen to me, and what happened was, in my dream, I was walking down a sidewalk and tripped, or I stumbled on a curb, or any number of things depending on the dream I was having when it happened. It had nothing to do with my soul, and your mother is wrong. It is a perfectly natural reaction to an event in a dream. Nothing supernatural about it.

I like that they're so unexplained and mysterious yet they happen all the time, because we probably could all do with mystery in our lives. But I can't remember my dreams anymore, just daydreams.

I think dreams can have a deep meaning pertaining to your life, like maybe you could have a reoccurring dream when your under stress. Or the dreams could just be totally random.

When I was in elementary, I dreamt that my friends and I got eaten my flesh-eating dinosaurs. xD

Another time I dreamt that I could fly. It was really hard to control at first, but after I got used to it, flying became fun. Then years later, I had a continuation of that dream. I had to get used to flying a second time.

Are my dreams a vision of the future(lol dinosaurs)? Does the fact it's always hard for me to get used to flying when I start a hidden meaning? Does me flying mean that I feel detached from the world?
I personally don't think my dreams have any meaning. They're just dreams I could never seem to forget. But you can interpret your own dreams anyway you want.

Dreams are confusing. I think that some of them mean nothing. And some of them mean something very important.

For an example, last night I dreamed that I went to my History class and then ate something and then...Yeah.

And then over the past few years I have been having this one reoccuring dream. Come to find out, it actually happened and I had just forgotten all about it until this year.

    Dreams are tricky.

I don't like most of the dreams I have, but half of them are pretty good. Most of my dreams come true. Or like this one time my mom had a dream that her grandma broke her hip and then the next day he found out her grandma broke her hip so don't know.

Dreams are fun. i rarely have nightmares, and if i do they usually turn into lucid dreams, which is even more fun.

especially when i take melatonin. they give me crazy ass dreams xD like this one time i had a melatonin dream:

Okay so first, i was in a lake. A big, big lake that had a large number of cars in it. For some reason I could fly, and I thought "hmm, i wonder how these cars got here." Then, the music "Night of Fate" from KH1 came on, and the lake grew arms and pulled me in. for some reason on the other side of this car-covered lake was the sky, which i proceeded to fall from. I landed through the roof of my Grandma's house to find my uncle playing Final Fantasy X-2. He didnt seem to care that i just majorly broke the roof for some reason. he asked me if i wanted to play and i said no way that game is ******ed (it is.)

But then he told me it was like a special edition or something like that. So i started playing it, this chick and Rikku's head on Yuna's body, so i proceeded to lol. i went into some sewer and then i notied that the battles were in real time in this game. My uncle then plugged in another controller, and we were coo-oping (his character was yuna's head on paine's body xD). so eventually, i noticed that i was actually inside of a sewer holding a remote, controlling Rikkuna. There was a boss in this sewer that kind of looked like a human rhino thing. Eventually, Rikkuna somehow changed to Link. When that happened, i won the battle in like two seconds.

Then we went deeper into the sewer, now i wasnt holding a controller, but i was just watching the game play itself from the third person. not like a TV screen though, its kind of hard to describe. Anyway, turns out that deeper into this sewer is a labratory. Link isn't Link anymore, but now he is Riku(KH vesion) in the form of Ansem (XsH). In this lab, theres a proffesor, who is apparently trying to help Riku get his body back. No clue how riku got it, but Riku hand this proffesor a dead dog he got in the sewers, which is supposed to help him get his body back.

The professor runs it through soem machine and tells Riku to get in, saying that if it works he should come out with his regular body...he comes out with his normal head (from KH1, mind you) and a dog's body. I then proceeded to lol as a very pissed off Rikudog killed that professor.

I can't remember the chain of events from this until what i'm about to describe, but eventually I was sitting at a table with my mother and a bunch of guys in army camo.
My mom said "one, two three" and everyone at the table pointed at one of the guys. He then started whining, got a gun, and ran into a place where there was a bunch of men with guns. he killed one of them before dying.

This kept on happening until there was only like five people left at the table who were alive. But now, we weren't in army camo, we were in regular clothes. and there wasn't a bunch of men with guns a head, but a team of very fat females waiting by a large, circular track.
Then my mom chose me to come up and race against them. the other people at the table were like "WTF BUT HE SUCKS!" and she was like "He needs to get self esteem."

So yeah, i started racing these fat chicks, and i lost, badly, to which my mom started crying. then i went to my hotel room to find the rest of my track team (?) who proceeded to beat my ass. I woke up later in a hospital where i just stood for a bit, and then one of my Youth Group leaders walked in and asked if he could sleep on my bed. then i woke up.

A dream that involves a sexual fantasy?

Once I had a great day because of a dream I had the night before. Unfortunately I don't really remember what the dream was about now, but I know it wasn't a very pleasant dream. But when I woke up I immediately knew the dream wasn't real, and was glad it wasn't true. I spent the day more appreciative of those around me and was in a good mood all day, something that rarely happens.
