Dreams of Flying

So--does anyone have any dreams of flying like a bird? I've had one and it didn't--go so well... I crash landed into a tree and fell. D:

 

i've never had a dream about flying but i've fallen to my death in many dreams.

i'll never leave my nest :c

 

I had recursing dreams/nightmares when I was a kid, one of those involved me jumping from atop my bunk bed, bouncing on my lil' sister' s bed and flying right out the window. Icarus, Da Vinci ... the ability to fly is one of humanity' s classic phantasms. I think that' s why I enjoyed sea diving so much, it was the closest thing to those flight dreams I ever experienced irl.

 

* shakes head * You should have taken lessons.. I crashed once, but that was during the flight test. I passed the second time, though.

 

A few nights ago I dreamt that I-- or rather, a phantom boy whom I embodied as-- flew laps around a medieval village [location unspecified]. My presence woke the villagers up. At first it was all good fun, I [the spectre] laughed gleefully at their superstitious antics. Till I flew too low to the ground, that is, and one of their spears plunged through my chest. The spectre crashed into the ground and received a mouthful of dirt. His eyes wandered down to his chest uncomprehendingly. It apparently hadn't occurred to him that such a physical thing as a javelin could harm him. He passed on before he could make sense of what had just happened.

 

Yes and I wish I can walk on water.

 

I did... But it was only after watching Dragon Ball Z for several hours... again after watching SAO for the entire day...

 

why do I need the sky when I have the land?

 

gas prices. If you could fly, you'd be saving yourself (or your parent or whatever) a lot of money

 

or I could walk


or ride a bike


or ride a bus

 

We should just live underground.

 

I once had a dream that I was in school and was asked to walk onto the stage in front of the whole school. Then the head teacher came to me and said "In all my years I have never seen a demon quite like you" It was then he held a cross to my face and my skin began to melt away revealing a demon face. Then wings grew out of my back and I flew away as everyone I knew and cared about was throwing rocks and stuff at mean shouting "Begone you demon and never return" And the next day I was kicked out of that school by that very head teacher. I was freaked out after that.

 

I guess now we know why you' re an athiest. xD

 

I guess you do but who gets called a demon in their own dream?

 

guilty people, messed up people, people with an interesting story going on in their heads...

 

I wonder which one I am.

 

I'm sure there are other possibilities. Those were just the first that came to mind.
