Any Drakengard fans out there? For some reason, this is one of my favorite SE games. Drakengard II definitely had a great story and became very emotional if you played the first one. I love the heavenly aspect of these games, the phrase "the watchers dance" and "the gods will destroy your creators" have never sounded so awesome. The gameplay, meh, I don't normally like Hack-n-Slashes but this one was just too fun, the moves, the gore, the spells, the weapons, I love it all. Not too mention, this game has one of the greatest song's ever in it(Growing wings). If you haven't played this game, since it's so cheap now, it's beyond a must play(since it was a must play when it came out), even if you don't like Hack-n-slashes.
I love drakengard,i got it the first day it was released with some other games.imo drakengard is better than part 2.caim is such a better character to play and the story is very emotional.especially when angelus dies.and its much harder than part 2.
Yes, Caim was a better character to play as(spoilers) but he was definitely cooler to see him as a vilain, seeing him kill Urik, and dieing with Angelus don't you think? Meh, it may have been harder, but I like the ground boss fights, and the new dragon battle system, it feels like Lair will.
I confess that I have both Drakengard and Drakengard 2 but I haven't played them yet. From your description though I will be playing them now. Thanks for the great write up.
