Can anyone believe what happens in this Special! Bardock was the first super saiyan and he's the reason the legend began in the first place!
how can that be besides that he died? And that it's a special, and they're taking it from the normal story. I hate it when people do that. They don't make anything new, they just take stuff from the already made story
It's just a spin-off manga showing what might have happened if Bardock survived his fight against Freiza. The manga itself is called 'Dragon Ball: Episode of Bardock'.
and am I the only one that noticed that they basically completely redesigned Freiza as well? He looks like he's wearing overalls

I saw this, and thought you meant the anime Bardock movie, and then I thought you'd gone troll, saying he went Super Saiyan. It's a manga? Neat-o. I should check it out sometime. Never confuse What-If stories with canon! If you did, Vegeta and Broly would be Super Saiyan Threes.
