    Many manga's have copied DBZ.

examples: Kakashi's Lightening blade is Son Goku's Dragon Fist
Avatar Aang's Avatar State is a copy of Super Saiyan
Naruto's Tail forms is basically the Super Saiyan and Kaio-Ken
Sasuke's curse seal is also like the Super Saiyan and Kaio-Ken
Yuske's Rei Gun is a copy of Kamehameha
Luffy biting Arlong with his own teeth is Piccolo being hit by his own blast
Ren is also a copy of Vegeta
Prince Zuko is a copy of Vegeta in terms of pride and honor

You know it seems that your saying that any manga that has a super powered form is a copy of Super Sayain.

You also seem to be saying that any move that looks like or works like anything from Dragon ball is copying it, thats like me saying Ichigo is a copy of Cloud because he has a big sword.

And there are ALOT of characters with the pride and honour that may resemble Vegeta but really he's just one of many.

If I judged things like that then almost EVERYTHING would be copying Dragon ball.

It would be better if you said "alot of manga's have used some ideas from Dragon ball in thier own way"

Ive noticed that plenty of anime are similar to Dragon Ball Z.

Id say that because Its probably one of the most recognizable and more popular anime. So plenty of anime might follow in its footsteps.

You can make many shonen jump manga's correlate with features of Dragon Ball/Z and call them copies when the fact is you're only saying that because DB/Z was out first on shonen jump than the others and Kishi and Eii-chan (the mangaka's of Naruto and One Piece respectively) admit DB/Z inspired some of their ideas in their manga which happens a lot and if you look carefully it's not like one manga is copying every single feature of DB/Z or else that'd be a copy they are borrowing ideas which are similar but still different.

The Luffy and Piccolo one is a poor comparison, being biten is the same as being hit by an energy blast. >_>

Generally your examples are week. You always find similarties in Shonen anime because it's a good formula that works in that genre. The hero never gives up, well if they did then what's the point in the anime. Characters power up well naturally things like curse seal and SS are ways. That sort of thing probably appeared before DBZ anyway.

Is he punching? No. Does it have a dragon anywhere while in use? no.
Does his hair glow yellow? Not that I know of. Does he glow with yellow energy? I haven't heard that.
Is super sayin or kaio-ken a giant nine tailed fox? No.
Does super sayin have a curse, or the black markings? No and niether does kaio-ken.
    So he yells kamehameha? Nope.
So DBZ was the first thing ever to use the concept of defeating someone with thier own weapon? No.
    Is his name vegeta? Nope.
So vegeta was the first person to have pride and honor? Nope.

Dude. Shonen Manga all use a similar formula and dragon ball was not the 1st shonen manga.

Well, I think it's a coincidence really and well...it's not that much of a biggie. Really, the only thing I find quite similar to Dragonball is Super Sonic and Super Shadow (from the game, Sonic the Hedgehog)...but even then, it's just a super form, and often those look somewhat like that, with a golden aura...at least I think so...lol

Well, the golden aura isn't THAT common... an aura of some kind is lol

As for these 'copying' incidents... I'm sure you could find a lot more similarities between DB and others... but just similarities...

You want to know what I think?

I think you've spent way too much time thinking about this. How about you go 'outside, catch a bus, hang out with friends' or watch some different anime that YOU think do not have relation to DBZ.

Nice snide remark, because he watches anime he doesn't go outside. I watch anime and I am outside most of the time so your point just makes you like like a douch.(yeah I said it).

He is simply stating a lot of new animes took alot of stuff from dbz because dbz was awesome.

Fine, let me rephrase it. *edits*

I never said that becasue he watches anime, he doesnt go outside. I'm just saying that he should go do something else or watch something that he doesn't think relate to DBZ. Simple as that.

Btw, I think DBZ sucks. That's just me. Dragon Ball was better.

Many of the manga creators admit that they were inspired by Dragon Ball, Kishimoto-sama in particular said he was a fan up to the Freeza saga.
