Anyone whose been watchin' the Dragon Ball series, or at least have watched everything would know about the myth that is Dragon Ball AF. Dragon Ball AF started out as a doujinshi (or whatever it spelled, it's a Japanese fan comic) which people mistook for an actual continuation because the art closely mirrored Akira Toriyama's (the guy who made the series). But what really made it spiral out of control was a convincing image of Goku in the next stage of Super Saiyan evolution: Super Saiyan 5 with the Dragon Ball AF logo. The image itself is what AF was to revovle around. Akira himself declared that GT was the last one and concluded the series but people were still convinced this was real. And so, people went to create fan art of this fictional series. All of the AF rumors centered around the SSJ5 Goku, which is depicts him with SSJ3-esque white hair, fur and tail. According to some other rumors, this form supposedly turns Goku evil and some such. Most of the rumors were about the Super Saiyan evolution in which some characters do obtain the 4th stage such as Gotenks and Gohan. There were also fan produced images of new fusions such as the somewhat popular Vegtenks, the fusion of Vegeta and his son, Trunks. The story itself has had many interpretations by many fans as to what would actually happen which would lead the way to Mary Sue/Gary-Stu characters. The 'official' art for Dragon Ball AF consists only of either fan art or existing anime stills and official renders for the DBZ movies which are mostly poorly done. The reason why this still goes on is because of the newer fans who believe that this will be an actual series. Ultimately, Dragon Ball AF is either a fan comic or a fanfic as Akira has confirmed that the series is over (and has been over for a decade), but only the new fans will be ultimately fooled into thinking this is an upcomin' reality
