your parents volunteer you for things? Then you have to do a bunch of crap you don't want to do and they get an attitude with you. Not my fault you wait until the very last minute to do things.
How about when you hear in passing that you're due to babysit a troublesome infant in five minutes? And then when you question it, they're like "Oh, I'm sorry, didn't I tell you?" And you're like "No! You didn't even ask me!"
My parents try very hard to get me to volunteer for stuff. "You should go say you can help" "go volunteer to help" No Dad, I don't want to. I just want to sit here and read. Shoo. But yeah, they've never actually volunteered me without asking. They just nag and nag until I agree.
