Yes. I hate that YouTube added advertisements.

At the very least, they could either put them above, below, or on the sides of the pages or after a video ends instead of when a video begins.

I know right. Those ads are annoying, but sometimes they let you skip them.

I installed the "Adblock Plus" and "Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon" on Firefox, I don' t have ads anymore (not even on you-tube).

Yeah, I'd rather pay fees to get rid of minor inconveniences than watch something for free.

Ads suck, yeah, but in order to have free videos online, any site will eventually have to have them.
Can you imagine what happened if YouTube stopped being free?

How you think these sites stay afloat? Ads

They can't make money appear from thin air.

SEGA forum, although down at the moment, and FF Shrine forum also have no advertisements, but run fine.

It's not the lack of advertisements, but lack of a good server.

Yeah, but someone has to pay for a good server. Also, there's a BIG difference in what a forum/regular site needs of server capacity when it doesn't have videos. Any site with videos on the site needs an expensive as hell server, which is why the KHV vids are not uploaded directly to this site.

The SEGA forums are official, though, and SEGA has got massive profits rolling in from other places, haha. They don't need ads on their web site. Ones independently run usually do, if only to keep the site self-sustaining money-wise. Noroz was pointing out that, yes, we don't have ads, but that means we're not making money--hence the crappy server.

But yeah, I use AdBlock as well.

...and FF Shrine relies mostly on donations, so that explains no advertisements there, I guess.

Anyway, where do I get that AdBlock feature?

Well, you have to be using Firefox as your browser. There may be versions for the other browsers but I use Firefox personally, lol. Once you are, you can download the add-on from here.

I moved over to Mozilla Firefox a long time ago after creating a thread on the SEGA forums and getting opinions.

Internet Explorer 8 started freezing on me for a few seconds when clicking links. It wasn't long, but it was frequent, and it got annoying.

In short, yes, I use Mozilla Firefox. Ha-ha!
