Don't Leave

A few decades have passed by since the Jenkinians have taken over Rartain. Everywhere the Rartain's go, a guard is bound to catch them. They are forced to live in a controlled society. There is no way to call for help and no way to escape. Kimberly has other things on her mind though at the time. Of course, none of the guards know about her and her family. Her, her parents, her brothers, and her taken sister are all not of this world. They were born here, but that makes everything harder. They are no normal humans, they are vampires. Have been for over a hundred years, and yet no one else knew.

The Jenkinians have the whole town surrounded in guards. Kimberly thinks she can escape, but not at the moment. She needs help, and she's going to seek it.

History: After she had been turned, she had always spent time with her new family. Both her parents left her in the forest one day and said they would come back. They never did. She was adopted into a family of vampires. They kept it a secret until one day they had to turn her before she died. The nano's in the blood helped heal her.

Weapon: He is almost like a jack of all trades, mastering some but still working on others. For now, he carries a sword at his waist and a shield strapped onto his back. Below the shield is a quiver and a bow case, holding 15 arrows and one unstrung bow.
History: Vaahg was bitten only a month ago, so he still strugles(sp?) with the urge to kill humans. So far his record is clean. He resides on the outskirts of town, in a small hut. He is a "Vegetarion"(sp?)
Other: Strange enough, he keeps a wolf with him as a companion. He is not attracted to the wolf's blood at all.

No, it's modern time but the town that is being controlled is in the middle of a forest. There is a big wall in a circle keeping wild animals from entering the city. There's a road that leads to other cities also

Bobby was walking down the street with his hood up, hiding his face so he wouldn't be recognized. They will pay for what they have done. he thought.

 

Kimberly was running around the corner, running from a few guards chasing her. She had tried to make an escape. Her legs ached terribly from running the past ten minutes. It hurt to even breathe. Everytime she looked back one was gaining on her. She breathed heavily and loudly and kept running. ​

 

Bobby didn't see the person (Kimberly) heading right for him, he was so deep in thought, so he didn't move out of the way.

 

Kimberly looked in front of her almost accidentally running into him. She jumped to the side and skidded into the middle of the road, banging her already hurt knee against the pavement. ​

 

He brought her to her feet and pulled her into an alley, where they wouldn't be seen. He whispered "What were you running from?"

 

Kimberly looked up startled. Her eyes full of worry.
"Please! You must get away from me!" she whispered. ​

"Why? What was chasing you? Was it the guards?" he whispered back.

Kimberly's eyes got wide.
"Yes" she whispered. She looked at him more closely and she backed away.
"You're...a Jenkinian," she said, shocked

"That may be true." he whispered. "But I am against what they have been doing to these poor people. I am willing to fight alongside anyone who whishes to challenge them."

Vaahg stood silent as he gazed about the bustling marketplace. He could hear the heartbeats of all the humans, feel the pulse of their blood, radiating through their bodies. He pulled back from the other-worldly senses and focused on locating the guards around the area. One...Two...Three.....Four. Vaahg almost smirked. This would be too easy. He drew upon his superhuman speed and darted around the people, grabbing a rope that was attached to a pig. He dragged it up, onto a roof and stopped. He sat down and pulled the pig closer. With one quick twit, the pig was dead. He bit into it and began to suck its blood. It filled him with nourishment. After he was done, just to cause panic and , who knows, maybe even a little mayhem, he threw the dead pig over the edge of the roof into the crowds and was gone, jumping from roof to roof.
