Does "Sonic the hedgehog" have a meaningful message towards life?

This musician, named Charles Hamilton, makes some really nice points in this video about Sonic the Hedgehog and philosophy.

So, what are your comments and your opinions?

 

its just a videogame/TV show. nothing meaningfull in that except its a money cow for Nintendo and 4kidstv.

 

Too bad they dont own sonic, Sega does.

 

Um... Sonic? Well, yeah, I guess... Be active, don't be scared in the face of danger, know that you don't have to face the world alone and that you've always got your friends...and, uh... you don't have to be big and strong to save the world; look at Sonic, he's a hedgehog for god sakes!!!!

(I apologize if I have the entirely wrong idea here, just my opinion. Even though I'm not a huge fan of Sonic The Hedgehog anymore)

honestly that was good, and i did like the thing about god being a girl, i would believe gods a girl only im not christian or whatever

 

Ahem...God the Father...if you're going to mention a religion, at least get it right...(sorry if I sound angry ._.)

And this is a pretty...unique concept I guess I could say...but yeah, no reason to praise Sonic these days. Sega's just making him a money whore, forgetting the whole reason players loved Sonic games in the first place (because they were fun).

Well, it's still an interesting concept.

Well, I don't see how Sega making Sonic as a money whore has anything to do with the philosophy I was talking about in the first post, but, Sonic Unleashed seems to be fun.
