358/2 Days Does "Decrease Challenge" even do anything?

    After dying off a few times, at the screen with "Continue" and "Withdraw", sometimes "Decrease Challenge" pops up. Does selecting it do anything? My theory was it temporarily puts you in Beginner mode (I'm in Standard), but it doesn't seem to do anything different.

    google it? EDIT: googled it...it sets the difficulty to beginner...but trust me i found standard easier than beginner

    I never got that but I was playing on Proud and one boss I died loads of times and it finally said 'Tip: Bring more healing items & magic.' or something really basic along those lines. I felt like a fool. Actually it might have been 'Try withdrawing and re-arranging your panels.'

    Just as it reads. It decreases the difficulty to make stuff easier.

    Barely helps with Leechgrave though.
