Kingdom Hearts Does anyone think Shadow Sora should have had a bigger impact?

Okay, so I'm replaying KH1, and I just finished beating Shadow Sora. First of all, I forgot how creepy he was. Seriously, he creeped me out. But...he was just kinda there, then gone. There could have been so much more with that. Sora could have seen what he could become if he chose the same thing as Riku, plus there would be some foreshadowing and it would be amazing! Seriously, I think that Shadow Sora got jipped. Does anyone else think there should have been more to Shadow Sora?

 

Shadow Sora could've been awesome. He could've been a reflection of the dark part of Sora's heart, he could've had more of an influence to the story and could've you know...Showed up more...But he didn't. It would've been cool if Shadow Sora could've been like...Sora's Sephorith. But--Eh, dreams get shattered. There's probably more to this...But this is my opinion ;3​

 

Yeah I think so. S. Sora was actually kinda cool. I think he could have really shown Sora what he could have been. But no. Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust a boss.

 

well, now that you mention it... I guess Shadow Sora could have had a bigger impact... I never really thought of it that way before... I thought of Shadow Sora as more of a boss trying to stall Sora, so Riku could escape with Kairi

 

Maybe, maybe not. He could of but it really was a boss and a distraction. But maube it might appear later on but in that game it was kinda unimporant​

 

You're right, it's pretty creepy. But it isn't the only 1 Sora's shadow, at the beginning for example we saw the Dark Thorn(2 times: beginning-end)

 

Dark Side was a Heartless,Shadow Sora was,well..his Sora Shadow.
And i think it was a referrence to Peter Pan "moving" Shadow.

 

It's not a real Heartless. In part yes (It also has the Heartless symbol) but at the beginning a voice says "more you approach yourself to the light and more your shadow becomes big" or something like it. that Sora's shadow becames big and that appeared Dark Thorn so, in part, it's a shadow

 

Curious. Did shadow Sora have the heartless emblem?

 

No, not shadow Sora, Dark Thorn has it (that giant shadow at the beginning of KH1) Shadow Sora only has the same Sora's chlotes

 

It's not Dark Thorn,it's Dark Side.
Dark Thorn is a boss heartless from Beast Castle(KH2).

 

yeah, but he is just heartless that makes riku look like he can control heartless now.
I think shadow sora is just a show-off thing that riku made....

 

It could have been bigger, but Shadow Sora didn't really need to be a big part of the story. I think the story is good enough without adding more. In a way, it would have been cool, but I wouldn't add him to the story if I could.

 

that shadow sora was a pain in the breadsticks (not swearing) i'm kinda glad that they didn't advance him more with Riku's dark powers

 

Oh, well, but it's a shadow, I'm sure, I think it's a shadow Heartless only when u fight it at the end at the Destiny Islands destroyed.

Exactly,but some other Heartless such as Shadow and Invisible don't have one too.
He is a Pureblood Heartless.

Off topic:Anyone noticed that when you kill this kind of Heartless they don't drop any Hearts?

What do you mean?
That when you fight him at the beggining of the game he is not a Heartless,just a Shadow?
