    i don't know about all new fancy pokemon cards and whatnot, but i still play with my original cards. last month i stayed the night at my coworker's apartment and we battled pokemon for hours. it was pretty great.

    I actually found the Game Boy Color game for Pokemon TCG in one my "junk boxes"

    I don't play the TCG—I don't even actively collect anymore (GASP) [I do accept cards as gifts, though; I just don't go out and buy them for myself] (SLIGHTLY RELIEVED SIGH)—but I do occasionally check PokéBeach for news, so from what I can tell, Mega Evolutions are played as though they're normal evolutions, but they can only evolve from Pokémon EX.
