Kingdom Hearts II Do You Think This Is Ansem?

Please post your thoughts. This image is from the Extended Secret Ending, which was momentarily shown in the new Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ Commercial.

I think it's possible it could be a very old version of Ansem The Wise, even though I thought he was definitely dead. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure it's no-one else that we've seen before, so it would be a completely new character.

I don't think that's ansem. But I'm disappointed, we don't need an old bold man, we need some strong young person with an un-original desire (Taking over the world, etc.).

I bet he's Ansem...if not, then well...I'm not really sure.

You know...if the secret movie takes place in the past, then this could possibly mean that the man we see in that picture could be something like Ansem the Wise's ancestor, or something. I mean, the Ansem we know in the 'now' was interested in Heartless, and this guy seems to have a Heartless-type creature with him (I'm not calling it a Heartless, check out its helmet, that seems very Nobody-like to me...)

 

my idea, if it is the past, is that the old man is Xehanort. work with me here. the whole "birth by sleep" always nags me. maybe, somehow this guy is reborn into Xehanort and it's where he loses his memories. i just feel like Xehanort is a lot older than Ansem the Wise...

and i am convinced the guy beside him isn't a heartless/nobody(maybe the opposite of the knights-like if they're good, he's bad or something like that).

 

well, on another thread, it showed the very same picture of the old guy. but next to him was a picture of xehanort's heartless. in both pictures, they were looking to the right. xehanort's heartless and the old guy's clothes were EXACTLY the same. creepy. i forget what thread its on, put it was recent. check it out.

 

i saw that picture, after my theory. it just seems to convince me more of what i've been reflecting on.

 

I think it has relation to Xehanort. Maybe...maybe Xehanort's spirit went to posess the form of an innocent bystander and used that body for evil purposes until he could find or remake another body that would suit his evil doing needs.

...or maybe it's a total new character that has control over Xehanort's Heartless.

 

Like I said in another thread the bald guy is Xeanhort's Chaser,i mean it makes sense.In KH 1 we had Xeanhort's Heartless;In KH 2 we had Xeanhort's Nobody.Square would be stupid if they didn't put Xeanhort's Chaser in KH3.

 

or maybe this takes place before his body split up and thats his original forum.

 

I don't think that Xehanort can have a Chaser, and here's why: the definition of a Chaser isn't like something from the body. A chaser, by definition, is one who carves intricacies into keys (i.e. designs and shapes). So perhaps 'Chasers' are the ones who craft the appearance of Keyblades.

 

True, chasers have already been figured out to be the makers of the keys.

 

It's all really weird... Though I think it might be some form of Ansem. You know, the clothes? You know, like Heartless, Nobody etc. And that's all I have to say about that.
