Do you think that bands plat their own songs on Guitar Hero?

The title says it all.

 

Duh. I'm sure actually playing it on the guitar is cool, but wouldn't you like to be able to play GH and go "Holy s**t, this is our song"

Don't you think there like " holy ****,I cant keep up with these notes." They actually had real guitar players play GH and they had no idea what they were supposed to do.

Tom morello was my favorite boss battle. I didn't like Slash, and Devil went down to georgia brings up bad memories. ( I friggin hate orchestra class)

 

I liked the devil, the song that you had to play was fun.

 

I dont play guitar hero 3 anymore. I stick with Rock Band Online.

 

I love rock band! But I really think that it feels a lot like a repeat of GH except mote instruments.

Rock Band is made by Harmonix, the creators of guitar hero 1 and 2 (RT80's was forced on them)
Guitar Hero 3 is made by Neversoft, who proved you can make a note chart in 5 minutes (Raining blood)

Therefore Guitar hero 3 = Clone of original game. Rock Band = Epic game made by people who made the GOOD guitar hero games.

Plus Rock band has 152 songs.

I've never played Rock Band, but you're arguement is a little weak, dude. The whole it came first thing doesn't really matter.

dude c'mon you have to play rock band. you have had to at least played GH.

 

It could be. What if you're really bad at "guitar", but then rock band comes out and you kick ass at drums? It's better for the drum player.

 

Yes but we are not judging the game just because you are better at drums than guitar. That may make it better for that person but that would not make the game better.

Rock Band: 155 Songs (3 - 9 each week), TONS ogf good songs, 4 instruments, VERY good note charts (though blackened is Overcharted) 4 player, not glitchy. Better graphics, better looking menus, more music genres, better online play, better leaderboards, Band World Tour

 

dude, ok. i'm not saying that rock bad is a bad game. I adore that game. I'm just saying that it seems like a repeat. If they changed it so that it did not look the same way then it wouldn't seem like a repeat.

I was reading a youtube comment on a custom GH2 chart for Dumpweed by blink-182. Someone said that a lot of songs were a lot easier to play on real guitar than on GH. Dumpweed, for example.

 

Yeah. GH2 customs are fun, but for me im a hard = fun person (my discs are LOADED with dragonforce, Protest the hero, and BTBaM)
