Birth by Sleep Do you suppose BBS will follow the trend?

I've noticed that in each Kingdom Hearts game, the last boss/strongest character is the same creature you've been fighting throughout the entire game. For example:

KH1: Sora learns about and fights the heartless. In the end, he fights Xehanort's heartless, who is in fact, a heartless.

CoM: Sora doesnt really learn about nobodies, but he fights some of the org members. In the end, you fight an org member (Marluxia).

KH2: Sora learns about the nobodies. You fight them throughout the game, finally reaching Xemnas...who happens to be a nobody.

Do you think the final boss of BBS is an unbirth since this is the creature you fight against? If MX is the final boss, what does this say about him...?

 

Actually, I think it's just a matter of storyline. But, uhh, they all relate to Xehanort, keep that in mind too.​

 

Yeah, thats for sure. I never noticed that before though. But i think the Xehanorth from BBS is the original Xehanorth. xD

 

Nice spelling of Xehanort there. Anyway, I think you could be right or lets just hope Square uses something different.

 

No the enemy will most certainly not be an unbirth.
This game is branching away from the happiness serenity of its sequels.
This game will cause a change in the way the games will proceed.
I feel that the final boss will be the apprentice while Master Xeahnort dissappears into the background.Thats why Terra goes besserk at the Gathering Place, because he thought that it was Xeahnort, meaning that he knew that he hadn't destroyed Xehanort.

 

lol, good point. I didn't even notice that. I think you'll fight that MX at the end but no one knows if he is an unbirth, well I don't think so anyway. hmm...maybe the guy next to MX is the unbirth :)

 

I don't think it will be any different, the enemy seems to be Xehanort again. As to what he is, I have no clue. Hopefully we will be enlightened soon.

 

Xehanort seems likely. The question I have is how many times will we have to fight him?

 

Daxma has a very good point here. I could see the apprentice turning out to be the final boss, and something else happen to MX.

well...this does support my theory of the apprentice being the somebody of Xemnas we know today.

 

Well i always (and still) believed Terra somehow ends up at Xehanort.
but reading yr post gave me a weird theory
MX somehow ends up helpin Terra (or something of the sort)
His apprentice betrays him and Terra gets angry and fights the apprentice
then something happens
The apprentice merges wit Terra, Terra defeats him but is possessed by his darkness, etc. Just something that makes Terra and Dark Soldier one.
and the result is "Xehanort", Ansem the Wise's apprentice.
but Terra has a keyblade (even if its fake) and Dark Soldier has a real one
so if either of them becomes "Xehanort" why doesn't Xemnas weild a keyblade?

I think it might not. I think the bosses usually has something to do with Xehanort. In this case it might be Master Xehanort's apprentice.

It would make sense, as already explained in previous posts. It would also give a sort of twist to the story, which Square Enix might like to do. It'd be fun seeeing how big the apprentice's role in the story is.

 

yeah thats true. plus if hes mx's apprentice he should have almost the same amount of skills as mx which means he could overthrow mx and we have to kill ds. explains why they are both dead

But I really kinda turn this whole thing into a pro Orginization thing. I think they were good. Terra becomes the apprentice of Ansem the Wise that lost all his memory, right? What if instead of Terra and MX merging, it was MX's apprentice and Terra? That would make more sense, considering a possible plot twist of MX's apprentice turning on him in the end, and then having to be merged with Terra. Because Xehanort turns on Ansem the Wise. (Also, I think Ansem the Wise is bad, maybe even MX himself!)

 

how was ansem the wise bad. he was just confused with hate. also he couldnt be mx because he could have just as easily killed the orginazation just as easily even if he was weak.

 

I never really notice that, good eye. From what I heard, that you'll be fighting Xehanort at the end of the game.
