Do You Still Play "Old" Games?

And I don't mean games that are two-three years old...I'm taking good ol' retro games that after all these years are still loads of fun to play.

On my end, my N64 is still alive and kickin'...I tend to play Zelda: OoT on that for old times' sake rather than use my Collector's disk on my GC. And Mario Kart and Super Mario 64 are still classics. My friends will play that sometimes rather than Guitar Hero or something (le gasp!)

Heck, I still have a Sega Genesis floating around that still works...hooked that up yesterday morning and played Sonic 2 for the first time in ages...and remembered how hard that last boss battle was....

 

I play Pokemon TCG on the GBC. >_>

I play all of the Mario games in an SNES cartridge "Super Mario All-Stars."

 

I go over to my friend's place to play Mario Kart 64. on N64

 

lol I still have that in my N64 collection.

 

What else would Mario Kart 64 be on? O_________________________O

 

i still got a working and alive SNES but my only(and favorite) game for it is Clock Tower 1: The First Fear

 

I also love to play Kirby Island Adventure.

The newest system we have is N64.... Although I have a hunch I'm getting a PS2 for Christmas so I can actually play the games ;) But anyways back on topic, I play tetris a lot. We actually have the orgrinal tetris for the orginal Nintendo.

The only "new" game I've ever played was KH2 at my friend's house.​

I mostly just play them on Virtual Console these days. My Mega Drive/Genesis still works, it's just been put away.

 

I play Glover a lot. That game is addicting. Zelda: OoT and MM are games I play every once in a while. All my other N64 games I've given away.

 

I watched my friend play the games on her PS2. Later, she let me play a little bit of KH2. I actually discovered this site because i was watching AMV's and they all said "Videos from KH-Vids" in the credits.​

 

I play old games sometimes.but not all that much.

 

who doesn't! I love playing old games because they're a challenge!

 

True,new games are starting to get kinda easy.

 

Retro games beat any new games.

Duck Hunt > Halo 3.

 

lol I was thinking the opposite: I'm so used to the old games that when I started playing new games, I got really confused. And my friend couldn't figure out why I was getting confused. Sometimes it's so much simpler with just A, B, and a control stick. It makes my brain hurt to be like "R1, X, X, L1, O" etc. while also trying to move the kid with an oversized key around. But that's just me.​
