do you see what i see?

i was watching the movie "the eye" and someone posted a comment saying "makes me wonder if some people can really see death". then someone replied and said "there are many different beliefs about that". so whats your belief. do you think its possible for some people to see stuff others cannot, in this case death/ghosts.

i would like to think so but i wouldn't know since i dont know what other people see =P

 

I really don't think it's possible. Seeing something with the naked eye that can't even be detected with devices with higher resolution and reception doesn't seem possible-- it defies our physiology. At most the worst we've ever encountered with faulty neural and optic wiring is synesthesia, where people have seen sound. Even more so it all depends if you even believe in ghosts or the supernatural to begin with. In my opinion it's just as much a fantasy as psychics and palm reading.

 

i do, but i'm pretty sure, (and rather hopeful of this), that it's cuz i'm a paranoid, schizo, insomniac, and i get hallucinations.

but as far as seeing real death, i have no idea, to be honest
but i don't really believe it.

 

I've never had a supernatural experience like that, but others have claimed to. And because I'm not them, I doubt I'll ever be 100% sure if they're lying or telling the truth. The simple fact is that I don't know, there are many things in the world and in life that cannot be explained by man or god, and I'll never see what others claim to see, so I believe that it'd be easier to judge these stories case by case. Some people lie to get attention, or make themselves feel special, other REALLY believe they've seen these things, some people even have evidence(or coincidence) on their side to support their "powers".

Needless to say, my opinions on this subject are broken and fragmented, unsure and complicated. So I can't give you anything solid.

 

dont' think it's possible tho a lot of times i thot i saw something but i was just imaginging it. ppl actually hallucinate more than you think, it's just not as big as those stereotypical hallucinations from shows and games. it can be as minor as thinking you saw a bird on a tree when there was none and such.

 

Psh, just ask my friends they know me to have seen things. I believe any one can. If you have a spirit at least. You just need to be able to feel it and concentrate in my belief.​

 

Technically no two people see the same way. Everyone's eyes are different so colours will differ by tiny tiny amounts.

As for ghosts and death, who knows. People may see it but assume its normal so never tell anyone. I don't see it so I don't see why I should care.

 

I believe that, while most people cannot detect ghosts with the naked eye, people with special gifts could.

 

Frankly, I don't believe that certain people can see ghost/the dead. It's just not possible. Even it were possible, I'm pretty sure they'd have old news articles or journals about it.

 

I doubt anyone can but i do have a question. How was the movie? I was going to go see it.
