I do beleive that he did predict the future, but he also said something.
We can manipulate and even change then futures that he predicted. So even if he did predict the end of the world, it is still change-able.

By saying that he protected his predictions from being false. What he is basically saying is "I am telling you the future, but if I'm wrong then you obviously did something to change it. I was still right".

It is impossible to predict the exact future without some doubt. It is possible, however, to make predictions on the far past and future by using statistical probability. This assigns a probability to all possible paths to the future/from the past and then works out which one is most likely. It works quite well, and is certainly more trustworthy.

Well, so should we take it as being true on some of his perdictions?

Nope. Predictions bias our minds so that we look for things to prove them. And anyway, you wouldn't read the last page of a novel, now would you?

I'm going to agree with Bunterx. I give Nostradamus, or any other prophets, little credibility.

Predictions can go any way you choose to interpret them. No, I don't think he was very correct in his predictions.

Most of his predictions are either in "riddles" or are vague.
    So no.

I don't believe in any prophecies. If it's unpedictable events that are going to have an impact and matter in the future, they're impossible to predict. It's just a scam... Not that I have anything against psychics, astrologers and the like.

I don't believe in prophecies to the effect that they are fulfilled in any divine manner.

I really find it to be either planned or coincidental. -shrugs- Anyone could plan or accidentally fall into line with an individuals prophecies.

I never knew that people Acually FOLLOW his perdictions as a source to perpare, there are a lot of shows that say this and somehow say these things are true

I don't think his predictions are necessarily true. Coincidence, maybe, but I don't think he predicted it.
Pretty much everyone knows about him, and it wouldn't be hard to plan an attack at the time he predicted.
And if I remember correctly, his prophecies were somewhat vague; no specific details but "a great disaster". Hell, I could say that there's going to be a huge disaster in the distant future and there's a fairly good chance something will happen.
