Do you look when you type?

I took typing lessons in 6th grade, so I don't look at all...unless I want to see how fast I can type....

No, cause at my elementary school, in computer class all we'd do is type...so I don't look at all.

 

I usually look at the keyboard while i type, but not always. We were never given many opportunities to practice typing in school.

I've been able to touch type for years, so know my way around the keyboard without having to look. We got Administration class in primary (elementary) school. Most people around here start it in high school. I remember having screaming fits at the teacher, telling her how impossible it is to touch type, and also type without looking. o_o Meh, well it was for the first few months.

 

Mmmm, I sometimes look. But I usually don't.

I haven't been taken typing class and the such.

I do most of my school projects on my computer (Despite the fact that most teachers don't want that xD) so I've gotten use to not looking too much

 

I had to take typing class when I was in sixth grade, so I only ever look at the screen now. I'll occasionally glance down when I'm looking for a certain specialty key that I've forgotten the location of. But other than that...no.

 

Well, I took a computer class in 5th grade, but all we did most of the time was play pinball so I only know where asdf are by heart XD

 

I don't , but I type really fast so yah.

 

I don't need to look at the keyboard when I type. My second grade class had programs and lessons to teach us how to type, so I'm really good at it now.

 

Used to. But now it's pretty natural; muscle memory ftw.

 

Only when I make a fackload of typos. Other than that, never.

 

No, not anymore. I used to a lot when I was younger. But now it is pretty simple for me. Plus I found that if I look at the keyboard I'm more likely to make mistakes.

Most of the time no, but when I'm unsure of how to spell a word I look.

A lot of people ask me about this.
I've been chatting online since I was six, and because of this, I type very fast.
But the thing is, I'm a pecker. Not a hunter and pecker, just a pecker.
I type as fast as anyone else, from what I can tell, sometimes faster.
But I only glance down occasionally. I never actually just look when I type.
I'm weird :p

 

I'm the same, its when I look that I make the most mistakes ^^ but for some reason I sometimes have a problem with my b and n keys so I will write, for example. abgry instead of angry and things like that, lol I make silly typos ^^

I never had classes I just got used to it when I started using my computer more :) ​

 

Nah not really. I look at the screen ,then maybe just a quick look. : P
