Do You Look and Sound Your Age?

Do you guys look and sound your age?

I'm 22, and people at the GED place, when I was going there, said I looked 18. As for the voice, I'm not exactly sure. What do you guys think?

When I was a kid people always thought I was older than I was haha. I think I probably seem about my age now, but I dunno.

 

Strangers have said I sound like a twelve year old boy.
And I think I still look like I'm 14, so... yeah.

 

I sound like Spike Spiegel and look like Vincent Valentine.

 

I don't know about my voice, but no one ever believes I'm an adult by my looks. Last summer I went to the nail salon and one of the women asked me how old I was and when I told her, she was like 'Really? I thought you were like thirteen'.

I've been told that will turn out to be a good thing later on down the road but it makes going to R rated movies and bars obnoxious. There's also this arcade here where you need to be 18 or older after a certain time to enter and the guy didn't believe my ID and just gave me this judgemental look before 'letting it slide'.

 

My voice sounds like a cross between a 30 year old and a 10 year old. It's deep-ish but there's also a bit of a high pitch beneath it; it's weird. I look 20 for the most part, although I have a bit of a baby face (mainly the eyes).

 

I have no idea really, when I was younger people always thought I looked older but perhaps now I have grown into my age. As for how I sound, it's hard to tell really, I swear my voice hasn't changed in years (even though it probably has) so I probably do sound like a 19 year old.

 

I've always been tall and scruffy-lookin' so people used to assume I was older than I actually am ( and boy, did I ever abuse the hell out of that advantage).

I look like a cross between Nathan Fillion and Jason David Frank, while my voice sounds like the cowboy/surfer/stoner version of Aaron Echkart.

I'd say that's on the money for my age group.

 

I look like I'm about 16. I'm turning 21 in two weeks. I am okay with this.

As for my voice, I haven't a clue. I think I sound about my age? Someone who's heard me speak, tell me.
Oddly enough, people think my singing voice and my speaking voice don't match, since I'm a soprano singer but my speech is a bit lower.

I look and sound my age, if not a little older, I think anyway. I might record something later so everyone can hear my lovely horrific voice ... as for a pic I need to learn to do better shots of myself. I'm definitely a real scruffy looking guy. Not like scruffy can handle it in a brawl scruffy but scruffy as in that I just don't care look ... wait, there's another word for that, isn't there?

The movie theaters never believe me when I say I'm 17 (actually, turning 18 in two weeks herpderp). People think I'm 12 - 14, given my height and I suppose my voice - but mostly my appearance. Tiny life YIS.

 

I think I do come across as my age, but I'm quite short so that can confuse people. I was also always mistaken for a few years older than I was at the time, but I think it has leveled out.

 

On average, people think I look around four years younger than I am. They've asked if I was twins with my sis, who's four years younger than me, they've been surprised when my other sis who's two and a half years younger than me states that no, she is not the oldest, I am, and once a random stranger was walking by and even yelled "HOW OLD ARE YOU!?" and when I, being 18 at the time, responded, she yelled "REALLY? YOU LOOK FOURTEEN!" And I was like "Thank you, random citizen!"Another time I was at a funeral and this old lady tapped my shoulder and asked how old I was, and when I told her, she said "Don't worry, your looks'll catch up eventually." That last one was especially weird. I mean, we were at a funeral, and I was just some random kid in the food line. I still wonder today what made her decide to ask me "Hey kid, how old are you?" Creepy old lady. ANYWAY.

I don't know how old my voice sounds, no one's ever commented.
