    Thet everything happens for a reason? like, someone died because they had a hard life anyway? Or you broke up with somone because you knew they were gonna treat you bad (or worse) in the future???

    People die for a reason

    that reason would be the thing that fuckin killed them

    I think everything happens for a reason, but only in a cause and effect way.

    Cause: You were suspicious that your boy/girlfriend was gonna treat you badly.
    Effect: You break up with 'em.
    But lot's of people have hard lives, but I don't think death is going to come for them cause their miserable. Death can come for anyone at anytime.
    Miserable =/= Death

    I tend to think fate is pretty random, and no one can be sure of what's to happen next.

    I used to, but not anymore. It just makes it hurt too much, to make it sound like my friends or family died because of a reason.

    Everything has a reason. People don't die for no reason. They may die of age or sickness.

    I believe that everything happens because something else happened.

    I don't think that everything happens for a reason; but I believe that there is a cause and effect for everything.

    The only "reasons" that applies to the universe are the laws of physics and psychology. We humans are responsible for everything we do, and there is NO ONE up there to shunt blame off to. The universe will unfold according to certain, immutable laws that govern the binding of atoms, the motion of planets and galaxies, and the operation of everything on this world. We humans have control of our minds, and we operate according to those laws. No higher force. And no, I don't care how cynical I sound.

    The only reason people think like this is because things only happen once. Something happens therefore we assume it was the most likely thing to happen. It might not be. We are just so arrogant that we assume that because something happened it is because of us. Things happen because the laws of physics dictate that they do.

    An acquaintance of mine died in a car crash, a drunk driver hit him, soon after I met him.
    My brother introduced me to him over the internet when I said I enjoyed the music beats he made. I commented his music, and he responded. A couple of weeks later I heard the news from my brother that he died. Was my comment one of the factors of his death? Did my comment affect the time he decided to take the car for a ride? If I didn't comment him would he still be alive? Maybe so.

    Was it his time? Yes. Things happen the way they do and nothing could have changed how they happened or how they will happen. I don't think there is a magical force deciding who lives or who dies. If there was, that would be unjust.

    I believe everything happens for a reason. I believe the most of the good die young because they found a faith that God found acceptable and had them die early so they could be an assured ticket to heaven kept safely in their soul's coat pocket.
