Kingdom Hearts Do heartless have hearts?

The idea just popped in to my head, do heartless have heats? i come to think about what Axel said in KH2 that every heartless slain with a keyblade releases a captive heart. Do that meen that all heartless have hearts only that its hold captive?

 

Heartless *are* the heart.

When hearts are removed from the body, they 'transform' into Heartless. It's kinda ironic, really, considering their name.

 

Exactly! And the Nobodies are the bodies that are left behind!

So that meen that the heartless have no body's right? and nobodys don't have hearts, man something is really wrong!

 

The heartless have hearts but their bodies seem to be made of darkness, nobodies on the other hand are the bodies but have no hearts.

Heartless have hearts, but they have darkness for bodies, and Nobodies have bodies, but their hearts are replaced with the darkness of nothing. Not the DARK DARKNESS, it's the NEUTRAL DARKNESS.

 

I think it goes like this Heartless haven't hearts because thats what they are darkness engulfed hearts.
Nobodies same deal they don't own anything they just are those things.
I guess that works ,right?

 

i say PLOT HOLE, lol. if they're so heartless, how come they have hearts?

 

Well, according to the reports Ansem/Xehanort pretending to be ansem called them heartless, maybe he just didn't know better..

 

....Aren't they the hearts that the Heartless steal??
