As much as I want to say this looks cool, I just don't see the reboot necessary at all. I'll still play this game eventually, but I hate that they changed Dante's appearance. Now he has a freaking Bieber cut...but aside from that, the decrease from 60 FPS to 30 will also be hard to get used to. 60 was what added to the original games' lightning speed action which I loved, and 30 is more suited to slower action games like God of War.

I agree, I didn't care much for changes ether. I didn't care much for Mio and Mayu's new look in the Wii remake for Crimson Butterfly. But they are a bit too showy on the chest part. Wtf is that about?

Aww, I don't like this at all. Probably wouldn't have minded it if it was canon.
Those who despise the reboot are not alone. Lead producer Alex Jones explained that he had received numerous death threats due to the controversial decision to reboot the series.

I thought it said on Wikipedia that it wasn't canon?

And death threats are the most immature response to anything concerning fictional series...(note that I'm not at all defending this game, just sanity)

I'll definitely buy the game, and play the **** out of it. But I won't enjoy it as much as dmc 3, for example. Or even dmc 4.
