Digimon.

[Digimon > Pokemon ]

 

The Digimon anime is better than pokemon.
But the Pokemon games are better than the Digimon ones.

That's my view.

 

I like them equally. Pokemon has the collect 'em all thing going for them while Digimon has a more pet-like get 'em all eventually but not at the same time thing going for them.

 

I can't choose :/8D: They're both really good. Pokemon is funny because team Rocket were just immense while Digimon had a better feel to it. Woah, I don't know if that made sense but ah well, I love them both.

 

i like digimon mostly because its real kids from our world going on an adventure...where as pokemon is only in that world.

which means if have more of a chance to meet a pokemon

There's one problem with Digimon though. There is no cannon. Every series after the second, except for the appearance of Ryo (who can cross alternate universes, seemingly) doesn't follow the same plot or laws of the Digimon universe.

 

It's funny because I just took to watching Digimon from the first season this weekend. Dunno if I'll continue watching after the first 2 seasons (which I think were the best). Like what was said before, both Digimon and Pokemon have their good/bad points. But if I were to choose (strictly shows), it would probably be Digimon. I dunno, just something about it always makes me happy on the inside.

 

agreed. It is kind of funny. The ones with a distinct digital aspect you would think would be easy to make videogames of. Unfortunately the exact opposite tends to happen. Code Lyoko is my case in point. Their digital world was conceptually designed to behave like a video game (characters have HP and everything) and yet the games could be called decent at thier best and a list of profanity comes to mind for thier worst

 

those are all really good opinions. but my opinion is digimon. i really dont get in to pokemon.:(

 

Digimon World 1 beats any Pokemon game any day.
For me of course.
I mean heck, I still play it until today.

But that's only one game in the whole series >_>

Yeah though. I enjoy Digimon much more than Pokemon.

 

I wouldnt call that a problem, from what I've seen, all of the pokemon seasons all follow the same basic plot line.

Gyms, New Pokemon, New Rival, Team Rocket.


atleast each digimon seasons have new plots and actual villans. (that are actually some what scary)

<3333333 Digimon. First and second season was the best for me. Tamers was meh, and so on and so forth really pissed me off XD

 

I still play Digimon World 1. Such a good game.
I also like the sort of sequel, Digimon: Digital Card Battle. But I don't think it's anything like the actual card game.

 

Digimon is much better and was created a year or so before.
But Pokemon games are awesomer.

My love for Digimon is simply profound.

Is there really anyway to beat DW1? I remember getting that game and playing it hardcore for the longest time, but I still have not beaten it.

 

Oh, well there was also Digimon Rumble Arena which was just plain fun with friends.
But Digimon World 1 is still one of my favorite games of all time.

I reached the final boss once.
Or well, the pre-final boss.
After putting up a good fight, I lost. That was okay though, my digimon still had a life left. But a few hours later he passed away ;-;
I've never been so sad over a virtual character's death before that moment.
