I just finished Watching Digimon tamers , throughout i almost cried , especially when Jeri lost Leomon , in the end i cried so much seeing Henry cry as he shaked his head at his dad for making all the digimon de-digivolve , then when Takato found the portal , i felt happy yet sad because i wanted another season with the Tamers..but there won't be one... Did Digimon tamers Make you cry??
I never watched the other seasons , but when leomon did die jeri went into deep depression which was sort of sad..
Well, let's see, I never actually been upset watching Digimon, but I suppsoe Jeri blamed herself for Leomon's death since Tamers usually help their partners survive but it was also a wake-up call for her to see what the world of being a Tamer really is like as Takato, Henry and Rika knew the consequences of battling, plus the children were a little too obivous to Beelzemon's desire for power and he'd actually kill them. Kenta was totally baggage throughout their trip to the Digital World until they are in the Ark and he has MarineANgemon as a partner, a Mega no less, wait...hold on-- Takato, Henry and Rika own Rookies, Kazu and Jeri were Champions and Kenta gets Mega? Kenta doesn't even fight much or was even REMOTELY helpful except for breaking into the D-Reaper to save Takato in which shouldn't of really happened since Mega levels are forced to revert to a weaker state yet MarineAngemon just practically breaks all warnings that no-one touches the blob of doom. Lastly, All it took was four Megas in synch with the D-Reaper's makeup and all they had to do was...spin around in an opposite direction...yeah...
and the consequence of doing that because juggernaut had been put into Terriermon was de-digivolution and back to the digital plain. i'm going to watch Tamers all over again and thats not something i normally do with an anime i already watched. and this digimon is different to the other seasons 1) it makes uses of Cards. 2) It's mostly a darker story line than the other seasons. 3) Its got a variety of genre. Comedy , Action , slight bit of romance , Sci-fi.. Overall , i think this season is the best out of all of them..
Darker storyline? Savers/Data squad is more mature for older audiences and turns dark when Kurata executes his digimon slaughter plan and literally leaves the Real and Digital worlds hanging by a thread.
I Meant darker than the first 2 seasons , Tamers was the only season i enjoyed the most , more balanced from start to finish with the comedic and serious scenes , though you have to admit , it was atleast an enjoyable season?
Well, it did have a good plot and the introduction and what could of happened if Yamaki continued his ways, that and seeing Crimsion Mode was a short period of spotlight. Justimon however, does contain a small plothole, Ryo and Cyberdramon weren't around for Dobermon's gift for biomerging in the Real World. But the ending did show that in order to gain victory something must be lost to make it happen,of course, the Diginomes created an alternate way for the kids to meet their partners as they live back in the Real World in Locomon's movie and not devovling, that and Rika shows she isn't all of a tomboy as she thought, she laughs, she cries at the end and blushes.
Basically, Dobermon was tasked by the Digmon Sovereign to giving them the power to reach Mega level since the Tamers were flesh and bone and Digimon just being data since when they were in the Digital World, the Tamers were data So I suspect that gift enabled the D-Arks to bypass that probelm or changed the Digimon's structure to make them able to reach Mega level, we'd neve rknow, we only can guess.
