Chain of Memories Difficulty?

Is proud mode insane compared to the GBA version?

I get it tomorrow, and I would like to know which difficulty I should do...

Note: I did beat the GBA version with little trouble.

 

I never played GBA version, but don't start on proud mode for Sora on your first try, you'll wish you hadn't. Riku's isn't as bad though, and he shouldn't give you much trouble with any difficulty you choose.

 

I also don't get the game till tommorow >>
From what I've heard, Proud Mode is pretty hard.
GBA Version wasn't to hard for me.

 

Proud was easy for me. You'll have no trouble on it if you fill your deck that you use against Organization XIII and Riku nothing but Strike Raid and Hi-Potions. It all depends on gaming skill though. If you're good then Proud, If you have no idea what it is you're doing then go on Beginner.

 

Yeah, it gets tough when the 1st fight with Vexen comes and after that it just gets worse.

 

I'm not a pro that's for damn sure o_O

Normal(Intermediate or what ever) perhaps.

You should start on Beginning mode first so you get to know how the game works because it different then COM on gba.

 

it's easy, VERY easy. make sure you play on Proud Mode, especially on Riku's story. this game is seriously way too easy.

 

Well, I beat it fairly easily on Proud, though, OH MY GOD, some of the later Organization fights are a nightmare. I think I was slighty overleveled at the end (Level 57), but I thought it was reasonable. Play Proud, you might die on a few, okay, a lot of fights, but you'll be all the more proud (pun intended) of it once you beat the game (and get to hear the kick-ass final boss music). Since you've already played the game, I don't see how you could have too much trouble. =)

 

All I can say is that as you play it and get used to the advanced card system, you'll realize that it's pretty easy. If you're stuck at all and keep dying, change your deck (Sora) or strategy (Riku). You won't need to level up that much.

People say it's either extremely easy or extremely hard.

Well, in Re:CoM, you get in the habit of sleigh spamming and going crazy with sleighs. Be careful. That can make you will or lose horribly.

I faced Vexen in the GBA version and had to win with one 0 card XD

i play with proud mode difficulty...
and it's very easy to beat the bosses..
geez...
i just want The bosses is more dangerous and more hard...

well all you have to do is having many of a 0 card.. and 9,8,7 cards..
i guarantee you'll win easily...
and don't forget the cure spell..

Don't do sleights..!
it will make you loose your cards and it can make you lose the battle..

 

Once again I remember the GBA grind XD

well i learned from GBA too...
and much easier cuz i played it at..emulator..
