I thought It was pretty sad, its just the music and stuff, more bittersweet actually. Even when I watch it now that the part when kairi sees sora drawing the papua(sp) fruit and cries it make me feel kinda sad.

The ending, was indeed sad, but it was also happy in a sense. Bittersweet is the word, the word for the whole thing...yet, here's what I thought about it:

    Short.
Brought a tear to your eye.
    &
Barely a long enough ending without the Secret Ending.

Yeah, the end was pretty sad. I felt sorry for Kairi xD But it wasn't as sad as I would think it would have been.

I meant, for Kairi sure, and the fact those two little love-birds won't be able to see each other again... x3

So meh @.@ as a conclusion yes, it was sad.

It was pretty sad, but not sad enough to cry about it in my opinion.

I guess it's kind of sad, but then again you just know they're gonna meet again.

It was really sad. I didn't cry, but I remember "awwing" as I watched it.

I'm not sure if sad is the right word, I'd describe it as emotional rather. But I was a bit bummed out by it, even though I had played and passed Kh2 by then.

I think it was cute, but not very sad.....kinda reminded me of a younger, happier version of the titanic really

I didn't think it was sad, i felt like it was a happy ending with conflict. I wouldn't call it sad, nor bittersweet...possibly cruel for Sora because he is so close to being with Kairi then is literally ripped away.

I thought it was sad. Because the first time I beat it, I cried. I was 6 years younger than I am now, so I was...9? Yeah, I was naive and thought that was the end completely. So, yeah.

But I did think it was sad either way around it. I "awww" and stuff when I watch it over again. I think bittersweet is possibly the word for it. You think Sora's going to go home or be with Kairi and then they're literally torn apart from each other. It's sad just watching it. And when you see Sora trying to yell something to her (you even know that he's saying "Kairi", it's obvious when you read his lips) and he's vanishing from her sight, yeah, that kills me every time. =(

So, all in all, yeah, I'd call it sad.

    ^True^

I thought it was pretty sad the first time I saw it. Mostly since, he went through all that, just to get stuck on a large road with no cars coming by to pick him up and drop him off.

The ending was, and still is sad. Brings a tear to my eye every time. Finding Riku, Kairi crying when she's in the secret spot and sees the drawing. It truely is a bittersweet ending.

I think "bittersweet" is the perfect way to describe the ending. It was sad that Kairi and Sora were separated, but some of the events like Kairi finding the drawing in the cave were happy as well.

Yeah, it was a bit sad, seeing Riku behind the door and Sora and Kairi separated. When I first played the game I thought, "WHAT HAPPENED TO RIKU!!! NUUU!!!" I ended up crying actually.
