Seriously, it looks like someone turned off the lights and put in a bunch of red lamps in Mass Effect 3. Now it feels so...dark and empty. Maybe it'll look less like a level from Dead Space later into the game?
Oh god, they didn't go back to the terrible lighting they had in ME1 did they? It was such a pain to walk around that first Normandy... I was glad when it blew up, honestly.
Something like this. It was only worse on my screen, and you couldn't adjust the brightness of the game.
Actually it is the Alliance's fault. They retrofitted the Normandy. I guess it is standred for Alliance Starships to have s(guitar riff)tactular lighting. Le gasp! No film grain option?! That's like every other game in existance! Bioware should be rounded up and tar and feathered! /sarcasm
but they did have the film grain option for ME1 and 2 and i have no idea why they would take it out. the film grain was Mass Effect's 'look' to me. other than that i can't actually wait to play it and punch a reaper in the face.
I don't have an actual problem with the game. Simply nitpicks. Still, its not hard to turn a few lights back on and let us holster our weapons again.
That's real saving. Quicksaves are just *press button; saves* And that button on PS3 is select. So I'm going with the back button for Xbox.
I'm not sure about consoles, but the loading and saving times on PC are amazing. It takes half a second to save the game manually. Also, Shepard VI.
It takes a good little while to load on the PS3. But at least the loading screens are prettier than the ones in ME2.
Personally, I find the load times for the Xbox pretty fast, with how much data there is to load. Then again, I've never been able to experience gaming on a good PC, so...yeah. And I saw that VI. Wanted to buy it and use it as a decoy during battle :>
