Kingdom Hearts Did any one else notice in Agrabah or other worlds?

So during your first visit in Agrabah, before your go to the cave of wonders, you can go to Aladdin's house and you'll find the peddler there who you can buy/sell items with. At the end, after you have obtained the three wishes key chain and Genie as a summon, if you choose to wonder around Agrabah you'll find some NPCs that are altered versions of Wakka, and two NPC's in Traverse Town.

I just found this interesting for it only seems to happen the times mentioned. If any one has noticed something like this I'd like them to mention it here.

 

I noticed the Wakka one in Agrabah, as well as the NPC that looks like Tidus in Traverse Town.

When I first played the game (as in when it first came out, haha) I assumed that Tidus and Wakka had ended up on those worlds after the storm, and had amnesia and didn't remember. Now I'm assuming that they didn't have the time/see a point in creating all new character renders, and simply altered the pre-existing ones. After all, they're pretty easy to miss; no sense in putting work into characters that very few are going to see.

It is pretty confusing that they used the Final Fantasy characters, though. They could have at least used a Traverse Town NPC.

 

I also noticed the Wakka one.

However, I had a look earlier, and I could not notice the others.

 

Yep. I thought I was the only one. I saw all this the first play through, but really didn't think anything of it. Just thought that Square was just using similar models to fill the map with. The thing I never noticed though was some of the alternate scenes in the game because I usually play the game the same way and order every time. I should probably play again to see if I can find anything else.

 

There's one for Wakka? I only noticed the one for Tidus in Traverse Town. I actually thought it was him for a sec when I first played. >> It's cool, it could be like their doppelganger or something. (don't take that last part seriously)

 

I did notice the Tidus one. Never stuck around in Agrabah to find Wakka though. How hard is it to make another character though? Can't be that hard.

 

Maybe stressing over creating new characters for almost each world would've delayed the release or something? There's drawing, the color scheme, aproval, then getting the movement (or whatever they're going to be doing) in the game and what not. Sounds pretty difficult, but that's just me.

In my game Tidus was always in Traverse town.... from the start

 

I've noticed the Tidus character in Traverse Town, but I've never seen wakka. I should check that out some time

 

I noticed Tidus, never saw Wakka. However, it's completely understandable- it saves game space instead of having to make a whole other character so I'm completely fine with it all.

I noticed the man that you see get turned into a heartless in traverse town around the town many times which is also the same case. However, it's strange that Ihaven't seen any of the other Destiny island characters in the worlds.

I couldn't find one of Wakka in Agrabah though.

 

I think the guy who turns into a heartless popping up is deliberate cos if you talk to him in the item shop he even mentions it

 

I notice the Tidus on Traverse Town. But I didn't notice Wakka. And never saw Selphie on any world.

I can get one of Wakka as well, if someone tells me exactly where he is--I checked all three areas and couldn't find him. Perhaps he only shows at a certain point in the game? I tried my save file at Final Rest.

 

He is only in Agrabah near the palace entrence If you choose to stay in Agrabah after defeating Jafar. Once you leave Agrabah he wouldn't be there anymore.
