The trailer was awesome. And the gameplay video was simply epic. I liked how they just used the enviroment to take out some enemies. And the new spells and classes look great. Especially that zombie wall lol. I know im totally getting this~

I was really sceptical at the start of the video. I was like "Yeah, another top-down hack-and-slash piece of-" Then the shiteload of ghouls appeared and I was all o_O

    The witchdocter's 'Ancient Tribal Magic'=win

Did anyone else notice that when they were fighting the massive thing at the end, it FRIKKING ATE A DUDE'S HEAD! It picked up the male barbarian, the one who killed a shiteload of ghouls by himself, AND ATE HIS FRIKKING HEAD!

I loved the trailer. I will definitely be picking this up.

I used to be a huge player of Diablo II a year or two ago, so I hope this one gets me into it like I was into DII.

SQUEEEEE! I can't wait to get my hands on this! I simply love D2 (Played on BNet for several months), so i'm excited to play this.

The game demo was awesome! The use of the enviroment is a nice touch. I can see it workin' against me, that's for sure. xD

YES! Different class genders! Female barb FTW!

This is a sure purchase for me.

I been seeing the ads for Diablo 3 all across the site, and I have to say it looks pretty good.
Now the question is will it be as good as it looks?

Kitty has been playing it a lot, I wonder how she's finding it...

Anyway i've seen a few trailers and gameplay footage of it, and I can't say I know exactly much about it or whether it's good, but it's interesting and pretty unique I think.

I only played the open beta but I loved what I played. Its a lot different from Diablo 2 in the sense that you can't actually choose what stats to put on your character and what skills to learn. I played Diablo 2 for years (I was a hardcore fan lol) and while I miss having the freedom to build my own character I do like not having to worry about the perfect build. To be honest, everyone had a very similar build once you reached the higher levels anyway. And most folk would rush through the levels, keeping their attributes points till they were ready to pop their gear on. It'll level out the playing field for newcomers - something that was difficult on the online games in Diablo 2. I'm not entirely sure but I think the Rune system makes up for lack of character attribute distribution and allows you to customise armour and stuff. I haven't looked into it too much since I'm trying to save it for when I actually play the game.

Its kinda hard to say whether or not it'll live up to the hype. There's a few things that bother me about the game like having to be connected all the time to play (even a single player game) and the reduction of players in a single game (Its down from 8 to 4). But there's so much to love about it. Being able to use your single player character online is a much welcomed touch. You no longer have to worry about creating unique character names that won't clash with others. The gameplay is FUN! I never got bored with it nor did I find it repetitive. Although I found it difficult at times to click on an enemy to attack (It can get pretty hectic during battles so there's hordes of them but I eventually got used to selecting enemies) the battles were tonnes of fun. Seriously, the moves are freaking awesome! From what I heard in the beta and if it follows Diablo 2 it'll have a cracking soundtrack. Plus the voice acting is top quality. Having Grey DeLisle (Azula from Avatar) as the female Wizard just seems to fit perfectly.

I'm definitely gonna be spending a lot of time playing this game.

As long as they don't bring the RMAH. xD

To be fair, if they did bring it to the consoles I wouldn't buy it. I don't think it'd work as well as it does on the PC, and many folk think it's still broken on the PC.

I can't really blame them. Constant connection DRM has been proven time and time again to be little more than a punishment to the customers.

Im definitely interested in this. I never played the PC version, and I could use an online game for my PS3. I hope it turns out well! Can't wait to see how they will make it all work.
