Diablo III: The Sin War

"It has been said that in the end of all things, we would find a new beginning. But as the shadow once again crawls across our world and the stench of terror drifts on a bitter wind, people pray for strength and guidance. They should pray for the mercy of a swift death... for I've seen what the Darkness hides."

The Sin War is not a single great battle that was fought and now belongs to the past. The Sin War was, is, an age during which both Heaven and Hell shifted the focus of the great conflict to Sanctuary and came to a halt pending on which side humans will choose.

The Sin War seemingly ended with the overthrowing of the Three and their exile to the mortal plane, because at that point, the focus of the two sided of the great conflict was restored towards each other, at least in some part.

Though Diablo names the Sin War the battle for Sanctuary and all who exist there, and announces that once he releases his brothers,

“The Sin War will once again know the fury of the three.”

The Sin War was in ages past. Once Diablo freed his brothers, only for all be slain. Though, not without destroying the Worldstone. Once destroyed, demons slain and imprisoned from ages past shall come forth again.

Twenty years have passed since the destruction of the Worldstone. The world of Sanctuary was prepared for an invasion from the Burning Hells. However, the invasion never happened, prompting Deckard Cain to seek information as to why.

The destruction of the Worldstone gave birth to a crater in Mount Arreat. From this, a volcano like structure formed. This structure was thought to house nothing, though instead it housed the remains of the Worldstone. Using the stones as a soulstone to keep there essence, the three have remained on Earth, weak, though still alive with human hosts. They wander Sanctuary, slowly feeding off of inportant people. Nobody really searches for the ones that don't have a big impact on Sanctuary, due to people dying every day by demons in the wilderness. Though, rumors do go on...

Finally having enough power, the Three summoned some of there Demonic Legion onto Earth, and thus the Sin War resumes.

The tribes, Amazon, Barbarian, Necromancer, Sorceress, Assassin, Druid, Barbarian, Witch Doctor, and Wizard banded together to stop them.

Lesser evils have come as well, as have lesser goods. The last days of the war are at hand. The Three have parted ways, each with one goal in mind: make Sanctuary a living Hell.

Tyrael, corrupted partially but not totally has lost sight in the light. Born from the light, now only darkness accepts him and he accepts nether. Seeking the knowledge if he has been granted a greater understanding or a curse for his actions in saving humanity.

History: After her home was destroyed, Tyra has made her way through other towns, trying to find a permanent home. No one was tolerant of her looks, and she has been outcast again and again. She now lives in a small house in the woods, isolated from humanity, and caring for only herself.
Bio: A sarcastic girl (I know I make all my chars this, but its better then not putting it and having them be sarcastic anyway), she tries to keep her comments to herself, or at least only mutter them. She rarely initiates conversation, and keeps to herself, following the proverb "Don't speak unless spoken to."

1: I reserve the right to add more rules to this at anytime. I will notify and I ask members of this roleplay before doing so.

3: That includes the 20 words a post rule. If you break this rule to many times, you will recieve a warning. Three warnings and you're out.

OOC:Thanks for joining to all of you. This thing may now start, yes.

BIC: Diablo walked slowly in his human body. The body showed signs of countless battle, as all of the Prime Evils bodies did. He was getting stronger, one human soul at a time. Soon they would be strong enough.

Mephisto ponderd silently near the place where the Worldstone had collapsed and made a crater. He had gatherd some traveling holey men, seeking to bless the place, and corrupted the wills of them with his hatred. They had fallen slowly, though it was worth it. He now had some religious followers, and soon they would bring more.

Baal walked slowly out of the burning town with a smirk. Kill and absorb all but one. That one would tell the others, and soon enough... Yes. He was the Lord of Destruction, and he would live up to his title.

 

Tyra kneeled down, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she worked. She could feel sweat, but ignored it, concentrating on the patch of earth below. She would find a way to support herself, or starve. It didn't much matter which one at this point, she had decided long ago. Please, let this work. she prayed to whomever was listening, and covered the small seed with earth.
