    I knew there were games and an anime, but I didn't know there was a book! Is it like a book of the first game or something?

    I only read the first book, it contridicted a lot of things from the DMC3 game. But other than that it really gives you more of an insight into why Dante is the way he is.

    DSK I belive the DMC book takes place after DMC3 but before DMC1
