Detailes on some of Sqare Enix's artists and composers

    I'm not sure if anyone cares, but here is some info and small biographies on there work, of some of the people who create the amazing music for Square Enix. I got this info from the Square Exix website and from Wikipedia.

    Tsuyoshi Sekito (関戸 剛, Sekito Tsuyoshi, born April 3, 1963 in Osaka, Japan) is a Japanese video game music composer, arranger and performer. He joined Square in 1995. Before working at Square, he worked for Konami and worked on several games created by Hideo Kojima. After joining Square, he did not score any games until 1998. Brave Fencer Musashi was his first assignment for Square. In 2001, his first assignment for the Final Fantasy series was to rescore Final Fantasy II for the Wonderswan Color. He later rescored the Final Fantasy II soundtrack for the PlayStation as Final Fantasy Origins. His wonderful guitar playing allowed him to become guitarist and arranger in the band The Black Mages, formed in 2003. He is also a member of another band called The Star Onions and also plays the guitar in that band. He is also studying violin. He became more and more versatile as a musician since he joined Square.

    Kenichiro Fukui (福井健一郎, Fukui Ken'ichirō?) is a Japanese video game music composer, arranger and performer. Before working at Square Enix, he was part of Konami. He is an arranger and a keyboardist in the band The Black Mages, formed in 2003. Additionally, Fukui arranged Angela Aki's "Kiss Me Good-bye" from Final Fantasy XII. In October of 2007 he left Square-Enix for reasons as yet undisclosed. [1]
    Update: It is now known that he left Square-Enix to become a lecturer, although he still works with The Black Mages.

    Takeharu Ishimoto (石元 丈晴, Ishimoto Takeharu?) is a Japanese video game music composer and synthesizer programmer currently working at Square Enix. He first worked as a synthesizer programmer before becoming a composer. His first work as a composer is the PlayStation 2 soccer game World Fantasista. More recently, he has been working as one of the composers for the Final Fantasy series.

    Hidenori Iwasaki (岩崎英則) is a Japanese video game music composer currently working at Square Enix. He studied at the Tokyo International University before joining Square (now Square Enix) in 1998. He first worked as a synthesizer programmer before becoming a composer. His first work as a solo composer is Front Mission 4. He was also part of the band The Star Onions.

    Keiji Kawamori (河盛 慶次, Kawamori Keiji?) is a Synthesizer programmer who joined Square Enix in 1998. He has worked on various Final Fantasy games and plays Bass guitar in The Black Mages, a band that performs rock/metal arrangements from Final Fantasy games.
