Has anybody played any of these games? I just bought Episode IV on a whim (not knowing it was part of a saga) and I'm slightly confused about the way this saga falls together. Either way, reception seems to be good. And it was 15 bucks with a voucher for Episode II so I"m not complaining. Anyway, wikipedia quotes? Asgard = Heaven. Underworld = Hell. So from what I understand is that each game takes place on a different 'world' but all 'worlds' share the same heaven and hell. The games are Episode I: Riviera: The Promised Land [Game Boy Advance. Ported to PSP] Episode II: Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone [Game Boy Advance. Ported to PSP] Episode III: Not released yet. Planned to be a PC MMORPG rumored to take place in Asgard. Episode IV: Knights in the Nightmare [DS and PSP.] Episode IX: Gungnir: Inferno of the Demon Lance and the War of Heroes There's also, I think, two spinoffs (both from Yggdra Union). Anybody play any of these yet?
I've played them. Or at least the ones that came out here. They're all fairly enjoyable. Ygraa Union felt like the weakest, actually. Mainly because Knights in the Nightmare seems a bit darker and there's a bit more character development. Not to mention that the gameplay is pretty addicting.
