Kingdom Hearts II Demyx problems... Help, please?

I keep on trying to fight Demyx in Hollow Bastion, but every time I try he completely thrashes me. I've tried everything I can think of, including changing weapons, armour, etc...

Any tips?

 

Level up some more.
Or reevaluate your strategy and fighting style.

 

Demyx is pretty hard because of the water clones :/

Okay, you need to use thunder attacks alot, Demy's weak against them. Also, I'd level up if I were you, it help ALOT.

 

Yay! I'm not alone! I got totally thrashed by him too!
Hero's Crest is a good Keyblade to use. Starseeker might too, but I never used it.
Magic, lots of it. Get into Master Form, and your second Keyblade should be the Oathkeeper. It'll prolong your drive and magic and such.
THUNDER LIKE CRAZY.
(I never used Thunder, so I'm not sure how good it is)
Limits are good too.

 

Make sure you are at a high level. When he uses his clones use fira???

 

IT took me about 20 tries with him....IF you look at Donalds Abilaties, you will find something called "Comet"...It's a reaction that you can use...keep pressing the triangle until the last one comes..it's a CRITICAL hit...It works for 30 secconds and lowers Demyx's health...That really works!

 

First, you have to get rid of his clones. Just whack them and use the reaction command "wild dance" everytime it pops up. That should take care of them. For Dmyx, I think you have to lvl up a little more. Use the Oathkeeper as it gives you equal strength and magic. Cast thunder on him till you run out of MP then start whacking him. You should be able to beat him before he can beat you.

 

i saw a video were wisdom form did the best damage against clones, use that and the reaction commands.................for the rest, it's good to just equip most of the stuff that will help power and combo abilities

 

Your stats would be nice and helpful to make a good strategy out of. You can beat any boss at level 1 if you know what to do.

ok drive forms and the comet limit is good but just keep him in the air I was able to defeat him without him useing more than one set of clones by keeping him in the air (use comet then the highest level drive and go at it)

 

I remember the first time I fought Demyx. I threw my controller in the wall.

Leveling up also helps. You should be ATLEAST lvl. 29
Use Star Seeker or Oathkeeper.

Stock up on eithers and potions.
Equip Donald with Fantasia or Duck Flare. It does lots of damage.

For the water clones, spam fire. Drive into wisdom form if you have to.

Also, you can do the same for Demyx. ^-^

when he sets his clone out constrate on the clone first after they evaporate then focus on demyx pretty simple jus don't jump alot because if u do he will use his water slash on u and u get alot of damage and on the clone if u see a reaction button flashing press it,it will make the clone battle easier remember don't jump alot and equip the keyblade with the highest number on strength

 

Use master form when you know he's not going to time you any more, level up your drive forms so you can do that dodge spin thingy and move away from him quickly, use your magic on him but stay as far away as possible and once you know how he works then you will know when he's going to use the water columns.

 

He's a toughie...I honestly spent a good week trying to beat him.

What I did to actually get the thing over with was focus. Focus, focus, focus...and if you find yourself getting too jumpy, pause the game and take a few to relax. That ALWAYS helps me keep my cool when I'm fighting an annoying boss.

When he brings out his water clones, try to get them as close together as you can and pull out the reaction commands. Don't even try doing them with just the keyblade.

When you get the chance, wedge him in a corner and spam him with fire spells. He'll let you beat him down a bit, but then he'll throw up his walls of water. (Avoid those...you'll want your MP for other stuff besides healing...so use potions instead.)

Duck Flare helped me kill him really quickly...I didn't actually go into Wisdom, but I hear it helps a lot.

the clones you could use fire,for that. ​

 

Another good trick to beat hi is to level up your wisdom form to the max and when fightin him use it and cat your fire spell on the clones.

The first time I beat him however I leveled up my summons to the max and used master form Genies Arcana as many time as I could that really shaved off so much his health.

 

actually.....Demyx is weak against fire, lol. i'm SURE, trust me, it's much easier to hit him with fire when in Wisdom Form. and avoid Valor Form throughout the entire fight.

 

I fight this guy every day at level 21, so I'm pretty used to it.

Tips:
Use the hero's crest keyblade, and for master form do Oathkeeper. Use comet to get rid of most of his water clones and wild dance for the rest. Have lots of items on you. Oh, and Goofy's limit commands PWN him. If you need help with specific attacks I can help with that too...
But yeah. Demmy was tough. He took me 2 weeks to beat V_V

 

Use Stitch summon.

Stitch will keep him from hitting you, and if your lucky he will also get rid of all the water clones for yah in a few seconds.

Thats why the game allows you get the Stitch summon right before you battle him.
