Kingdom Hearts II Demeyx.....:/

was it just me or did other ppl have trouble beating Demeyx in the 2nd trip 2 Hollow Baston? if u didnt, then tell me how 2. i need 2 beat him...if u ddnt, welcome 2 my world...lol =]

 

I used combo pluses and other abilities and items like combo boost and stuff, it helps you alot and I also used magic boost, magic comes in handy in this battle also

 

oh alright...like any worlds i can go 2 to make up my strength?

 

I stayed in Land of The Dragons, it helped me with strength alot

I actually didn't have that much trouble wiht demyx. he's easy once you get used to the attacks.
For the first part, just attack his clones by mashing x, then mash triangle if you see the rc avaliable. even if you are in the middle of an attack the rc will interrupt it.
Then he's vulnerable so just attack him until you land a finishing combo on him, after that, run away. he'll do his water-dash move, which is easy to dodge with quick run or just running. if he does the attack where bubbles fall from the sky, you can either quick run or reflect. if he does the attack where bubbles come out his sitar, you can either quick run or reflect. you can attack him whenever he finishes either of his bubble moves, just be careful because sometimes he breaks your combos.
Then after a while he'll go into a different mode where water will come out from the ground. just run away from it. if you are impatient, lock on to him and use thunder, and he'll stop the attack. Also, for his "Gotcha now!" attack, just reflect or guard very carefully. he's vulnerable after you hit him with show stealer, after his 'bubbles falling from the sky attack', or if you interrupt his water wall with thunder. if you attack him after his "Gotcha now!" attac, he'll just break your combo.

Gah, I had problems with him too :/ Stupid time limit...

I haven't played in a while, but I seem to remember two things that really helped me out.

1) Wisdom form. I went into wisdom form right after the first time limit part, and then just shot him from a distance. Muhahahah!!

2) Donald's Limit... omg what is it called... the one where rockets fall from the sky? That one. That destroyed a lot of water clones all at once, and hurt Demyx in the process too. Finally that damn duck came in handy!!

Umm other than that just use as many reaction commands as possible. And like others said, maybe go level up a little bit. Hope you beat him soon!

I only had trouble with the water forms. Just use the reaction command whenever you can and you'll be fine.

The time limit wasn't my problem O.o My problem was dodging his attacks after that.. I learnt to stay airborn, didn't take me that long though =]
