Deja Vu

First i want to apologize if there´s already a thread about this.
I was posting on a friend´s forum when i notuced he had made a new section and in it was the thread of Deja Vu, and it had his opinion about it.
I want to know what you think about it, what is a Deja Vu?

My theory is that while we exist in our own time, at the same time we co exist with the past and the future. so what i´m saying is that the present, future and past, all exist at the same time.
So because of this "phenomenom" (of all 3 co exisiting at the same time) i think that in some time or situation you "comunicate" or contact your present or future self, given the result of the Deja Vu.

Hmmmmm. Well, I'm not gonna be some ass who comes in and starts rabbling on about you being wrong or something, but in my personal oppinion, that really just doesn't seem like something I would come close to thinking, but that is just my oppinion on it.

The past affects us, not the future. The present is were they meet, and colide in a war within one's mind. But the past always wins, for it is much stronger, if you know what i mean.

 

I know this is strange but sometimes i've repeated the same events 5 times even if these are rare events and on 3 occasions i've seen small teensy parts of my future.I was in a dream playing Jak and Daxter 3 and the next day i got it the next day in that exact position.

 

I'm not sure what Deja vu can exactly be described as, but i suffer from freaky deja vu. I dream things then anywhere from a year to 3 days later it happens...I believe it's the subconscious invisioning a portion of your regular routine and 'dreaming' it happening, that's why when deja vu strikes we get that weird i've been here before feeling.

 

Oh, i get this all the time. I dunno if it's actually Deja Vu, or i'm simply confused, but like at least 3 times a week i feel like i've already done this stuff before. Maybe i just get bored easily.

 

My meaning of Deja vu's I hear from my friends all the time is that it means that you saw something that looked very familiar but two very different things happening.

 

If i keep blowing out quickly over a short time, ya sorta get light headed?

When i gets Deja Vu, i just feel a lil bit light headed and funny lol

 

Deja Vu, in my opinion, is a repetition of a similar action you performed or experienced earlier (ONLY earlier, as Time is a constant, moving forward notion) in life. And if you maybe do something that resembles that previous action, you remember something you forgot and it feels similar. Sometimes moreso than others, you might feel scaringly relevant to the specific time you are experiencing. It completely depends on the level to which you want to extrapolate the feeling in the moment.

EDIT: Come to think of it, Xephos raised a very interesting point. Deja Vu could just simply be yourself thinking of the environment around you, in the moment it occurs, in two or maybe even three different ways. I often think of one landscape or one area in a house or in a school in two different ways in which I experience and view it differently; in such a way, you could be fusing the two together, and as a result, feel confused about it.

 

Deja Vu´s are so weird evry time i have one i feel like i already went through that like in a dream, it´s really creepy

 

It's the same here.

 

My theory is that while we sleep and dream, a part of our brain recites the previous events and stores memories, etc, and sometimes it goes too far and a portion of the future or possibly just a calculation of what will happen next occurs, thus if it does happen, our mind has already seen it.

 

I've experienced deja vu several times in the past. It feels like I've fallen into a time warp and viewed the past. It's really creepy.

I guess it's also possible that our brains are able to view the future subconciously, but whatever the cause, I've felt it, and it scares me.
