Chain of Memories Defeating Axel

Ive been trying to defeat axel in the second battle in the last floor and its been very tough ive been using magic cards like blizzard, attack cards , friend cards and enemy cards but cant beat him *been knocked out by axel 73 times* so please help me

 

what i do is rarly use donald and goofy. add 3 blizzards, level 6 and up attack cards, 4 zero cards, vexen, and oggie. when he does fire wall, you can just dodge roll through that. just break his cards and use blizzard attacks. also if you use the riku replica card you can use up to 5 slights and not loss the top card.

 

Blizzard Raid with Blue Rhapsody does a lot to him. Over half a health bar if you do it right.

His Sleights are easy to Dodge Roll through, and his regular attacks get nullified by Large Body. Gargoyle can help to escape attacks too.

 

If you want to fight Axel and live, then you shouldnt use Trinity Limit. It doesnt hurt bosses much. Try adding blue rhapsbodies to your deck, and use blizzard cards. Try using Blizzard raid, one of the best ice sleights in the game (out of the 3, the other two are blizzara and blizzaga), and also add ALOT of cures. Dont use the Vexen card: If he hits you with fire, then youl take more damage then normal and also get stunned. Gargoyle cards will keep Axel from seeing you. Youl probably laugh as you watch him attack at walls and randomly throw his chakrams. If he does manage to hit you, dodge roll away and watch him try to find you again. If you fight more offensevely, then try large bodies and face him. All of his frontal attacks are repelled, and you will have a good chance for combo attacks.

some useful cards for fighting Axel:

Blizzard: ice damage, good against fire

Blue Rhaspody: boosts blizzard

Diamond Dust: ice keyblade

cure: good in any situation

Olympia: keyblade, try to use it at the end of a combo

gargoyle: turns you invisible, enemies will attack at random

useful sleights:

Blizzard raid: deals ice damage, and can hit twice
cards: blizzard, attack card, attack card

Blizzaga: heavy ice damage
cards: 3 blizzards

Sonic Blade: Powerful, and press a repeadidly for multiple attacks
cards, 3 different attack card types, total value 20-23

If all else fails, just try leveling up and raising your max HP.

 

I suggest doing a thing I call "Stun-n-attack"

Since Axel usually goes for an offense, it's advicable to card break him, but timing is of the essence. Only use sleights frequently on him, for he is not that hard to beat. Also, don't use the friend cards that much, he card breaks too fast.

 

I beat him the way I beat every other boss. I loaded my deck full of 0 Keyblades waited for him to attack, then used a 3 hit combo. Rinse wash repeat.

Oh, yeah, I also loaded every cure card I had. I turtled all the bosses.

You could also load a Vexen and Hades card. Play the Hades card at the begining, so you get the fire defence upgrade.

Only use the Vexen card if your life is almost gone as when its in play, your weak against fire.

 

Use my deck strategy. 9,8,0,9,8,0,9,8,0,... and then some cures. Thats how I beat almost every boss in the game. And make the 9,8,0 cards in that order, and they can only be attack cards.

 

Why? All Zeros negate everything. Even the last boss if forced to yeild to the power of the Zero.

 

All types of Blizzard attack,put sleights in your deck first to deal out some good opening dmg,and cure whenever needed...

 

You know what you should do? Just add high level cards. Not to many, though. The key to winning this fight is cardbreak. Keep cardbreaking Axel and you'll soon see that you're winning. Trust me. That's what I did and I kicked his you know what.

You made it past Repliku Four, and can't beat Axel Two? Wow.

 

Nice tactics everyone hear mine too:
for my firs card I always have Cloud number 9 then 6 Ultimate weapons follow and their numbers are up to 6 then somewhere 45 attack cards follow of any type up to 6 and then 4 heal cards two with number 7 one with number 8 and one with number 9 and then Mega-potion number 8 and Mega-ether number 9 and a Megaelixir number 7!!!!
If you do that to your cards I suppose you can get Axel!!!!!!!!!
