Chain of Memories Deep Jungle

It's like after KH1, Deep Jungle completely disappeared. This applies at all KH games after KH1, not just CoM. In CoM, Deep Jungle is a missing world that doesn't make an appearance. In KH2, there isn't one scene with Deep Jungle in Roxas's dreams of Sora's memories. And mysteriously, in the KH Another Report's Story Report, Deep Jungle is missing character descriptions, and an English lettered title(unlike all the other worlds)! I'm guessing it only speaks of Sora/Donald/Goofy friendship problems.

 

I heard it was over legal issues having to do with Disney not owning the rights of Tarzan.

 

I guess it's because it was one of those filler worlds and the Tarzan animated series wasn't that popular. It's like asking what happened to the 101 Dalmatians. They just disappeared without a trace...

 

That's a reasonable reason why. And that also explains why Tarzan has a copyright notice when you start up KH1 on your PS2.

The Nightmare before Christmas also has a copyright notice...

 

That's because Touchstone Pictures isn't a part of Disney.

 

Oh man, just think about how awesome deep jungle could be in KH3 with next gen graphics!

 

Taht would be so cool.. the grass and tents would seem so realistic!!

 

I don't think the worlds in kingdom hearts III will change graphically you guys. Only kingdom hearts orginals would work for better graphics. Cause disney worlds will always be toon, and toon graphics never look good.

may be because Tarzan wasn't all Disney's I guess, or maybe Nomura decided not to make it again, I mean how annoying was that world.. probably got eaten by the heartless somehow

It was in the flashbacks though, remember with Kairi walking behind Tarzan? That was in the flashbacks, and some other parts to I think.

 

It was replaced by 4 better worlds..im not complaining xDD

and Deep Jungle lost all the threats it had. (Clayton,Sabor),Tarzan didnt need more assistance after that,but its kinda sad that they wont see each other again.

 

It had to do with legal rights.

Your Defenintly right how come they didnt make deep jungle again? Was it to weird? was it to much? is it a dumb idea? or what! I liked deep jungle.... except for vines i always fall and go to the hippo lagoon and strangely i got stuck in the logoon once and had to reset my game! But the cheetah and krayten boss battles were pretty fun, and the cheetah kept showing up everywhere before you kill it. so it might be a bad or good thing that there not using it. Hopefully they dont.
