I know, I'm already doing Figments; but, this story came into my head, so I had to start this one as well! It's called "Deep Darkness," mostly because I couldn't really think of one that went with the storyline! Giving a small synopsis would ruin the plot, so I shall leave it shrouded in mystery! And, here...we...go... Deep Darkness Chapter 1 Raikou: Zaigou "And furthermore- Aw, hell no!" Xemnas was referring to the sound of an explosion in the distance, which in turn caused the lights to go off. "Vexen! What were you-?!" "Um...I was seeing what happens when you mix hydrochloric acid, sulfur, technetium, and oxygen..." Zexion's eyes lit up. "You idiot! You should never mix technetium with ANY earthly substance! It causes major explosions! Even an expert like you wouldn't be able to stop it!" "Well, I'm definitely not fixing the lights!" It was Larxene's voice. "Me, neither! I already did it twice for Lexaeus!" Roxas's voice this time. Xemnas began to get furious as everyone began to shout at each other. Stupid comments like, "Hey, Fire Boy!" and "Nice going, you nerdy klutz!" were getting on his nerves extremely fast. "Rrghh...WILL EVERYONE SHUT THE HELL UP?!" Everyone did so, fearing the Superior's anger. "I realize none of you want to help fix this; so...regretful as it will be...I'm going to call in a specialist!" A sudden, eerie gasp resonated through the throne room. Xemnas never called a specialist, never! There was the sound of him getting up, then the whizz of air as he teleported away. ~~~Xemnas's Office~~~ There was't even a backup power generator in Xemnas's office; luckily, though, he could still use his phone. He dialed a few numbers, and waited. "Yello. Whaddaya want? Yes...this is Twilight Electrical...We got some new employees recently...yes, we'll send someone out tomorrow...Whoa! That's a problem! We'll send someone over right away! Let me just get your address..." Xemnas cooly told the person on the other end where the Castle That Never Was was, and hung up. He teleported back to the throne room. "Everyone...to the living room!!!" *insert Batman noise here* ~~~Living Room~~~ Xemnas paced the couches and chairs; all other 12 Organization members lounged about. "Now...I was told that this guy coming is a real narcissist, and a total hothead." "Hey! Is that a crack at me!" came Axel's voice. Sighing, Xemnas said, "Now, be on your best behavior for this...actually, I never got his name." He hit himself on the head. "Stupid me..." He flopped down on the floor. After a few minutes, there was a knock on the door. Xemnas hopped up. "That must be him!" He rushed to the door, and opened the door. Of course, there was no light outside of the castle. There was just a slight outline. "Ah, you must be..." "Save the introductions for a little later, after I light up the room." He shuffled in, and took out a long polearm, or something of the sort. He set it down in the middle, and snapped his fingers. Flames shot out of it. It lit up his face immediately, a ghost-like entrance. A few screams came from the crowd of Nobodies, most notably Demyx's. The man took the quarterstaff, it looked like, and lit all the torches in the living room. He blew out the signature flame, and everyone could get a good look at him. He had raven-black hair stretching to his waist, with a few blue streaks in it. At the front, it fell in front of the left of his face, which had two hazels eyes and barely tan skin. A scar ran down from his right eye about halfway to his mouth. He wore a black robe, with long sleeves; but his hands stuck out. You could see a few veins on each, and he had long nails. Standing at about 6 feet, he looked like a menace, not something along the lines of an electrician. He grinned evilly at them, then changed it to a smile, eyes closed. "Yo!" He waved a hand at them. "Wassup?" Demyx was shaking. "So...anyone want to introduce themselves?" One of the Nobodies got up. "I'm Roxas!" He extended a hand. The man shook it. "Nice to meet you, Roxas! My name is Xephono; you can call me Xeph, though!" He seemed extremely passionate. "Well, I guess I'll meet all of you eventually." Xemnas spoke up. "Uhh...Xeph...what's that?" He pointed to the quarterstaff. Xeph grinned. "It's my weapon; I do some dangerous jobs. It's a microphone stand that can spout fire!" Everyone was speechless. "Well, after the intros, I can get to my job! So, who's next?!" End of Chapter 1 I know, this first chapter is a bit boring, but necessary, it'll start getting intense about Chapter 3.
